Activities
The purpose of the Association is to provide opportunities for serving RAF personnel to participate in winter sports. There are two key annual events organised by the Association, the RAF Alpine Championships, which are held at Saalbach-Hinterglemm each year and the indoor Championships held in the UK in the autumn.
Objects: To Promote The Efficiency Of Her Majesty's Armed Forces By Increasing Physical Fitness, Fostering The Esprit De Corps And Raising Morale Of Members Of The Royal Air Force And Other Services, In Particular (But Not By Way Of Limitation), Through Providing Opportunities For And Encouraging Participation In And Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities For Skiing And Snowboarding.
