Activities
To provide a nursery school, nursery education, school equipment and food for some of the most disadvantaged children in one of Nairobi's slums. The project aims to be self-sustaining and in time aims to invest in income-generating projects that will cover the running costs of the school. Funds and income permitting, the school will expand to include adult education and workshops.

"to Advance The Education Of The Pupils At Gataka Nursery School, Situated In A Slum Area Of Nairobi, Kenya, By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities (not Required To Be Provided By The Local Education Authority) For Education At The School."2. "to Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Community Of Gataka To Increase Their Income Generating Capabilities Through The Development Of Their Skills In Subjects Of Practical Value E.g. Metal-Working, Cookery, And Farming."3. "to Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Appointed School Committee To Enable Them To Oversee The Effective Management Of The School And Its Supporting Community Projects, The Profits From Which Will Be Used To Help Cover The Running Costs Of The School."4.
