13. OLD FREE SCHOOL RECOUPMENT LOANS
In 1981 the Charlty Commlsslon approved a loan to the PCC of £4,500 out of the residual proceeds from the sale
of the lease of the Old Free School and an associated right of way,. this loan was to meet the cost of repalrs to the
church roof,. and in order to achieve recoupment over the agreed term of 60 years an Snvestment was made in the
CBF Investment Fund, the value of which at 31 December 2024 was £4,346.9112023- £4,135.78).
A similar loan to the PCC of £16,119 over 60 years was agreed in 1993 In order to meet the cost of repairs to the
church centre,. at 31 December 2024 the value of this recoupment investment in the CBF Investment Fund was
£13,525.2612023.' £ 12,870.791.
Following drawdown of the 1981 loan detailed above, a small residue from the avallable sale proceeds created an
endowment fund, the use of which is restricted to capltal projects wlthin the church,. this is invested in the CBF
Investment Fund and the value at 31 December 2024 was £2,672.0612023: £2,612.27).
