Signifitgnt gctivities The Trwl's fundNsing activities continued throughout 2025. The Trust continued paym¢nls for the acquisilion from B¢lgium of a 101 key klorti¢r organ, built in Antwe in 1926 {serial number 1007). The instrnment is an ex¢eptionally rnre dance orwi, with altnost of all of 115 faFade suryiving, and with much of its original Morti¢r pipework and '0ing parts unal*red, An accordion wa5 fjtted by Mortier when the organ trtutned to the factory in 1937, but the addition is 5yrnpatheti¢ and is not intrusive on a 101 model. The organ has been ill storage since 1990 and rquirts fijll r¢5toration. Following ci)mpletion of this remedial work, the Trust attended the Oln¢)' Dickens of a Christmas event in Deccmber with th¢ 89 Marenghi organ lex-Reedersl. The Trust wntinued to acquire new and second-hand music books for both 89 VB and 89 G4 scal5 from the UK and the Q)ntinent. New atfdngcments Subje to acclaim this ycar included "Cleopatra" "Vieux Brnx¢ll¢s March" "Mon HoTntne" and "Trelawny" Of music cut from historic pattems, Tiggty Boo" proved a Very populat addiiion to the Tepcrtoire. Pwblic lJen¢fit The publi¢ benefits from the activities of the Trust because il is one of the few charitable organisations in th¢ world which commits 5i8nificant resour¢¢5 and expert15e to th¢ rescue, restoration and maintenance of historic and origin fairground orga.
