Éarller in the year, in July, beft)re In person servlces We￿ permitted to restart, the government allowed place5 of

Youth Club, Youth tsnd Children'5 Meerings..
During January to March we ran our Friday nl8ht Youth Club for
teenagers in tht local are8. running every week during term time. Thls ran in partnership with For8e Youth. who
were pald to provide è youth worker for the evenings. On aver¥8¢ we had around 20 youn6 people attend each
week. With l(xkdown the meetings stopped. ènd we did not hold anether youth club in the buildinE during 2020.
8etweell March and July we ran weekly mid week bible studie5, to replace our Sunday Morning Youth Group5 with
the teenage children.
In September. Oughtlbridge Parish Church IOPCI started employin8 a Family and Youth worker. As a churth we are
very excited by this and have sought to build relationships wlth OPC and Seek to work together to build God'5
Kln8dom. This resulted in an agreement to run all of our youth and children'5 work together in partnership. The
contract wkth Forge Youth ha5 been terminated and the local youth worker will take on this role for the Youth Club.
Since September Iwhen government restrictions have allowedl, the Sunday moming youth and children'5 work has
been takin8 place jointly. with leadèrs and children from both churches meeting in Oughtibridge Chape1 building. We
are also jointly running an online mid-week youth blble study grotsp and will run the youth club together once
strittions allow us to restart it.
Bible5rtsdy&Smoll Groups Fellowship.'- Wlth lockdowrt all our Bible Study groupsand small fellowship groups ceased
to meet in per50n. nelther in the buildin8 nor in homes. Flowever, we opened tr40 accounts with'zoom,, to facilitate

been fully booked everyweek since It startedl
A WhatsApp Eroup was ¢re8ted to enable church member5 and other contacts to keep connected with one another.
to share spiritual encouragement5 and practical support. This has been well used and appreciatÈd.
Cufé ond meGIs'.
At the start of the year the Community Café continued to be very popular 8nd well attended,
runnin8 every ThuT5day moTning. But in March is wa5 tlosed and has not re-opened as a café. However, durln8
December we started making mea15 and delivering them On￿ 3 week to older people in our community. who would
normally attend ) lunch club which has been suspended due to the pandemlc. Thi$ appears to have been mu¢h
appreciated by those who receive them 3rtd the provision of meals has now extended beyond the Lunch Club
mernbers to other older people. We intend the Cèfé to restart once resulètions make it possible.
Work in Schools.. . Until lockdown in March. we continued with 'Olswverers' 8TOUP in the local prlmary schoo1-

based on materia15 supplied by the Bible Society and nationally recognised. With schotsls closed this work stopped.
Although 'Discoverers' and In person assemblies have not taken place since March, we dld prepare some videos of
Bible Stories for use in school 8ssemblie5. These were welcomed by the school. Both these artivities will restart

during the autumn they rented our hall. Th5$ need decllned after October half term.
Alterotions to Kitchen Toilets.. In February we completed Improvements to our kitchen to accommodate the
ncreased use by the Café. These improvements included an e¥tra sink for washlng up. extr8 Storage spèce, a new

Fuiurt plans
During 2021 we plan to continuè serving our fellowship and community as best we can during the Coronavirus
Pandemlc. We wlll ￿$tart'in person, actlvities and s•rvi£e5 ès restrictions allow. We will restart running the Youth

Reserv•s Pollcy
The trustee5 aim to keep £4,5CIJ as working capital and an addltlonal £1,5(K> in reserve for Unfo￿$een buildin
maintenance or other unforeseen expenditure. Thi5 15 reviewed annually as we prepare the following year's budget.
The unrestrirted cash reserves at 31 De￿fflber 2020 were £62,830. In addition there were unrestricted debtors of
£2,445 and liabilities of £420.
The unrestricted reserves are very high due to the legacy ￿CeiVed in 2018. At presentthere is no Confirm￿ plan as
how best to use thls legary for the benefit of the church or to further the charitable aims. we are exploring the best
00t￿On for its use.
ststemtnt Re8ardin8 the COV1fy19 Pandeml
Finally, it is important to note that. at the date of thls report, the UK Is experiencirtg a period of soeial distancin8 and
5elf-i501ation in response to the COVID-19 pandernic, which is having a profound Èffed the prattical functioning
of the charity. Servlces and other rneetings are Suspended. and the trustees are strivin8 trj make sure the church
members rernain connected by other mean5 and supported as practS¢ally as possible.
The trustees will monitor the financial situation closely, with cl83r expectation that the economic impact of th
pandemi¢ will be far*re8thing. But overall, the assessment of the Charity's financlal reslllence is positive and the
trustees ère satlsfted of the church's abllltyto continue as a 80ing concern. In settin8 a budget some speciflc changes
to income and costs have been tsken into account, while at the same time assuming activities will largely return to
normal In autumn 2021.
