They need to provide a Mission Review to explain how<br>often the church reviews its mission and action priorities.<br>Applicants need to explain the Mission, Vision and Project<br>Outcomes, explaining<br>What the overall purpose of the proposed project, is.<br>They are required to explain how the outcomes of the<br>project will support the mission of the church and explain<br>any other impact the project will have and any potential<br>impact of not completing the project.<br>Additionally, they need to explain what the proposed<br>project’s impact (if any) on the following: circuit priorities,<br>local community, youth work, ecumenism, new models of<br>church, maintaining current facilities.<br>Applicants are made aware that  by completing and<br>submitting their application to Circuit Leadership Team,<br>prior to the Circuit meeting, the Local Church states that<br>this project was reviewed against the mission statement<br>of the Local Church and has the support of the managing<br>trustees (the Church Council.)<br>They are required to give the date that the proposal was<br>passed at Church Council.<br>They are also made aware that building schemes are likely<br>to require consent from District and Connexion. Applicants<br>need to state clearly that the Local Church has checked<br>whether the project for which a grant application has been<br>made needs such consent and whether the Consents<br>process (via the on-line system) has been started. If so,<br>they need to state the Project ID.<br>Volunteers are a vital resource in our outreach and<br>Para  fundraising work. Volunteers are involved in most of our<br>Contributi 1.38 activities, such as coffee mornings, concerts, open church,<br>on made  afternoon teas, etc. We encourage all members of our<br>by  circuit of churches to share their skills and knowledge with<br>volunteers others. people and adults when they are vulnerable • the establishing of safe, caring communities which provide a loving environment where there is informed vigilance as to the dangers of abuse. • We will carefully select and train all those with any responsibility within the Church, in line with Safer Recruitment principles, including the use of criminal records disclosures and registration with the relevant vetting and barring schemes. • We will respond without delay to every complaint made which suggests that an adult, child or young person may have been harmed, cooperating with the police and local authority in any investigation. • We will seek to work with anyone who has suffered abuse, developing with them an appropriate ministry of informed pastoral care. • We will seek to challenge any abuse of power, especially by anyone in a position of trust. • We will seek to offer pastoral care and support, including supervision and referral to the proper authorities, to any member of our church community known to have offended against a child, young person or vulnerable adult. • In all these principles we will follow legislation, guidance and recognised good practice " The Conwy and Prestatyn Circuit commits itself to ensuring the implementation of Connexional Safeguarding Policy; government legislation, guidance and safe practice in the circuit and in the churches. The Conwy and Prestatyn Circuit commits itself to the provision of support, advice and training for lay and ordained people that will ensure people are clear and confident about their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults who may be vulnerable.

Following the Pandemic, our circuit churches are<br>working hard to build the confidence of the members<br>Achievements Para 1.41 to come back to worship. Some of the churches in our circuit are in receipt of legacies.
