We seek to be a fn'endty and welcoming community and anyone is wamily welcome to attend any of our services. Th• Church op8rato$ $yst¢m$ to ensure that all people working vith thildr¢n and ¥ulner¥bltr •dults are appropriately vetted with ragard to the Criminal R¥¢ord$ 8uroau. The Church ha8 read the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit, and is satisfied that the activ￿88 ￿dIn•d in this report ¢188dy demonstrate that the c*8nty Is providing a bwefft to the public. Evangoll•m Wtt 8ee part of our ccfe re8ponsibilty as bringing paopl• to th8 lQngdom through evangelism. In pursuit of this aim, we organise Ajpha courses for non-christians and Christians seeking to ro¢ommrt their livo8 to God. and outreach programmes on Saturdays on our High Street. Mission Our mission is not limited to the United Trfjngdom. We aim to procLaim good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted. to prodaim frèèdom for the ￿ptiveS and release frorn d¥rkne88 for the prisoners and to prodaim ttle year of the Lord's favour anwthere in the wodd. In aid of this. we currenty support 2 families in overseas mI￿10n vth, te•mg ￿Ularty going out from the UK to support their work. While we support overseas mission work by sending tsam$ to other parts of the and through financial support to the Baptist Wortd Vision. we also support mI￿10n work in the UK threugh our continuing finano81 support of the London Baptist A880aation Homè Mi$$ion progrwnmt. Youth Progrnmmo We invest in the development of our young people through from crèthe to thoge away at Universty. In tha yaar under review, we have undertaken to wib.nue OUT investrnent in manpower by rocruiting more volunteers to assist in helping the young people reach thair potential$ in Gc•J.
