Members of Greenlord Baplisl Church are ac¢epled into membership in a¢Gordan¢e with our
Governing Document which requires them lo profess lailh in Jesus and be publicly bapb'sed as
believers of Je8U8 Christ.
Members, meelings lake place 6 times a year with a responsibility for the overall policy of the
Church. Annual General Meeting takes place in July.
Chur¢h membèrs, m88lings providé opporlunily for th8 Trustè85 to presènt r818vant matters for
guidan¢e and lor members lo raise mallers wilh the Tru8lee8. They ale also a lime when members
can prayerfully consider current issues of particular relevance and importance. The Conslilulion
permits declsions lo be made by appropriale majority, however, we seek lo work by consensus
wherever possible.
In accordance wlh the Governing Document, the members elect Irusleas for a Ihree year term,
The Trustees are ellglble lor Te-electson. The Pastors and the TTuslee8 are responsible for the day
lo day operation8 of the Church.
Other Oblectlves and Actlvltles
We do not believe that church is just for Sundays and. in order to achieve our principal objective
sel out above. we provide a variety of aclivilies for our own Church family and for the wder
community throughout the week. Our aim is lo show the love of Jesus Christ in both words and
deeds and lo bring people into a closer relationship with Him as living Lord.

Central to our work and witness is our regular pro9ramme of Christian worship on Sundays. We
seek to be a friendly and welcoming communily and anyone is warmly welcome to allend any of
our services.
The Church operate3 Systems to ensure Ihat all people working with chlldren and vulnerable adults
are appropriately velled with regard lo the Criminal Records Bureau.
The Church has read the Charity Commission guidaneR on public benefit, and Is satisfied that Ihe
aclivilies outlined in Ihis report clearly demonslrate that the charity is providing a benefit to lh&
public.
Evangelism
We see part of our core responslbilily as bringlng people lo the Klngdom through evangelism. In
pursuit of Ihis aim, we or9anise Alpha courses for non-chrislians and Christians seeking lo
recommit their lives to God, and run oulreach programmes on Saturdays on our High Street.

Our mSsslon 18 not limited to the United Kingdom. We aim lo proclaim good news lo the poor. lo
bSnd up the brokenhearted. lo proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the
prison6rs and lo proclaim the year of the Lord's favour anywhere in the world.
lft aid of IhS8, we currently support 2 families In overseas ml$slon wilh. teams Tegulafly golng out
from the UK lo support their woik.
While we support overseas mission work by sending teams lo other parts of the world and Ihfough
financlal support lo the Baptist World Vision, we also support mission work in Ihe UK through our
continuing financial support of Ihe London 8aplisl Association Home Mission programme.
Youth Programme
We Invest in the devèlopment of our young people Ihrough from crèche to those away al
University.
In the year under review, we have undertaken to conlinve our Inveslment In manpower by
recruiting more volunleeis lo assist in helping the young people reach their polenlials in God.

The live streaming ol Sunday Services on the Church's youtube channel Is now fully operational.
Total income generated during lo year lo 31 August 2024 was £188,018 12023 - £163,405) while
the lolal expenditure amounted lo £170.591 12023 £216,487) resulting in a surplus of £17,427
