Section C Objectives and activities
The Charitable Trust is a grant making trust. It will apply its income by making grants to individuals and charities to further the following objects in the United Kingdom, South America, Africa, and Asia:
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its i) to promote or assist any charitable activity directed to the governing document relief of poverty caused by disability, social or economic circumstances
ii) to advance the education of young people by providing for the provision of facilities for their education; and

iii) to promote or assist any charitable activity directed to the care or special education of people who have learning difficulties or are physically disabled or suffer from mental health problems
The Charity’s main focus and objective for the year was to continue to raise funds for Project Peru in order to fund teams of volunteers from the UK to aid in the building of accommodation and educational facilities for locals in the area suffering from extreme poverty. We provide funds for building materials and labour.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
In the year we also provided funds for the Turkish and Syrian Earthquake Emergency appeal and the NL for Ukraine Foundation to enable the provision of emergency shelter, clean water, food, healthcare, and cash to meet the urgent needs and livelihood support to help locals rebuild their lives.
In all dealings throughout the year the trustees had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2023 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
