Activities
The charity is based in Plaistow, east London. It is centred on a youth centre and to this end it runs youth clubs 3-4 nights pw. Additionally it runs a volunteer programme, a glee club, sports activities, has a cycling group, annual camps, overseas expeditions and work camps, a drama group, discussion group and an annual talent show.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Help Young People Through:the Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interestsof Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;providing Advice, Support And Assistance And Organising Programmes Ofphysical, Educational And Other Activities So As To Develop Their Skills, Capacitiesand Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Matureand Responsible Individuals.2. The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation In Particular Bythe Provision Of Facilities For Participation In Sport And The Provision Of Trainingand Coaching In Sport3. Advancing Education And Raising Awareness About Different Racial And Religiousgroups To Promote Good Relations Between Persons Of Different Racial Andreligious Groups4.
