The main objeclive of the charity is to continue
to practise and further advance the Roman
Catholic faith ofparish communities run by
Missionaries of La Salette. promote religious
harniony. justice and peace.

The charity provides priests to 5 parish
communities, chaplaincy to 4 hospitals. 7
catholic schools and I prison.
Chaplaincy is the provision of religious and
pastoral services to people within local
communities who may have specific needs due
to their slate of life, who face unique
challenges. or who are vulnerable and therefore
require special accommodations to b¢ made.
Continued operation of individual chaplaincies
reflects not only th¢ changing needs of people
in their local communities, particularly in
relation to s(xial integration and community
cohesion. The charity is involved in
chaplaincies connected with secular institution
such as hospiLqls, prisons.
The Youth chaplaincy is responsible for
nurturing the character of tomorrow's adults.
forniing them into active. capable citizens with
the confidence required to thrive in modern
society. The youth ministy has a paramount
imw)rtance to the Missionaries of La Salctte
and is provided on the parish levcl as well as in
the secondary $Ch￿lS connected with our
parishes and IKyond. Some young people from
our parishes went on a diocesan pilgrimage to
tA)urdes in July 2024.
Our priests provide pastoral provision for the
needs of Polish communities in BrentW(￿ and
East Anglia dicKese.
The T￿￿teeS have held a high regard to the
guidance issued by Charity Commission on
ublic benefit and wish to record their

recognition to the people who support the
Congregation of Missionaries of Our Lady of
IA Salette. Their dedication and PK)Sitive
attitude are greatly appreciated in furtherance of
the aims and activities of the Charity.

public. "Religion helps to provide a moral and

and community cohesion". The adherence to.

visitors: it provides services of public worship.

against all risks to the Charity are in place to
ensure thai the Charity complies fully with

Parish life is SUPFK)rted through the provision of
clergy and buildings as a result of which many
parishioners provide support to the local and
national community in improving social
cohesion and in many other ways. While the
celebration of M&ss is mainly in churches
owned and maintatned by the Diocese through
its parishes and supported by the curial
departments, parishes also reach out to the local
community through their actSVities and support
their parishioners through home visits, hospital
chaplatncy and a range of courses and other
programs.

The facilitation and nourishment of spiritual life
is the principal aim of the charity and while
weekly attendance figures and the number of
baptisms, confirniations. marriages, etc are
indicalions of the success of the work.
perfomlance can also be measured by the
continuing strength of our parish communities
and the individual journeys of faith of our
parishioners. Sick and elderly parishioners
received the Eucharisl and Sacrament of the
Sick, the dying and their relatives received
comfort and SUPPKIrt, and the deceased received
dignified burial and cremation services, which
aided the grieving process for their relatives.
The Charity SUPPK)rts various missionary
activities run by Missionaries of ta Salette in
Ukraine and Madagascar.

It is the policy of the Chartty that unrestricted
funds which have not been des1￿1a1cd for a
s￿elfIC use are to be maintained at a level
equivalent to approximatety 5 -7 months,
expenditure. The Trustees consider that reserves
at this level will ensure thaL in the event of a
significant drop in funding, they will be able to
continue the Charity's current activities while
consideration is given lo ways in which
additional funds may ￿ raised. The Trustees
have approved the Reserves Policy which is
reviewed annually when the financial
statements are considered for approval.
An independent audit is conducted annually to
fulfil the Charity's legal obligations and for the
Trustees io ensure financial SL￿rnents have
been properly prepared and give a true and fair
view.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **DD / MM / YYYY** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
