The flnancial statements show a sury)lus in Ihe year endgd 31 May 2024 of £27,968 {2023- £42,001) The Truslees have taken steps in the currenl year to increase Ihe operating surFlus, including inueasing Ihe nurnber of sessions held and ensuring any available places in dasses are offered lo those on the waiting Future plans The dub is still striving to improve the abilities of all gymnasts whether they are recreational or competitive. Our coaches are continuing their CPD BG qualifications. We continue our Ujale and refurbishment of equipment and also keeping the building in gcth shape. The club is Iijokillg for a satellite club that focusses specifically on the 8rillsh Gymnastics Rise programme. This is an award scheme that BG set up recently. The directors and tnjstees are satisfied with the progress of the dub during ihe year and have every confidence for fLrture progress. Policy on roserves The Trustees will be reviewing the resefves wlicy following the appoinlmenl of new board members. Past surpluses have been invested in equipment and facilrties for the benefrt of dub members. At 31 May 2024 fFee reserves held by the charity were in surplus by £27,968. The Trustees are confident that the club will be able to rebuild reserves over the next few yeals.
