Supporting older people who live in Leeds 16 to live informed, healthy and happy lives in their own homes. Through offering a wide range of activities and services to older people, we promote independence and reduce social isolation.OPAL is based in, and manages Welcome In Community Centre and Cafe. The centre is a community anchor and is a safe and friendly space for all.

Objects: The Objects Are To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Cookridge, Holt Park, Ireland Wood, Tinshill, Adel And Bramhope (Most Of The Leeds 16 Postcode)and Surrounding Areas, Particularly But Not Exclusively For The Elderly, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents And To Strengthen The Local Communities In Which They Live.
