The Electoral Roll annual update was wcce55fully completed on time - the third year after the six-
yearly Revision carried out in 2019 in time for publication on the occasion of the APCM.
The number ot Electors on the Roll of 2021 was 130 and this year. although we have lost a few
parishioner5, we have had some new faces joining us in Church and the revised Roll now stsnds at

church hire bookin8s and a number of the church policies.
Durin8 2021 we held some of our PCC meetings on zoom due to COVID restrictions but Satterly have
held them in person.

In early 2021 most of our services continued to be via zoom and we were delighted to rtropen, albeit
with restrbctions from Easter Sunday.
Church Hire was imparted during 2021 wtth a number of erfents being re-scheduled or cante15ed. We
are seeing a healthy number of requests for church hire in 2022. with organisers already planning fof
December 2022 and beyond.
There is a full PCC agenda for 2022 induding the Queen's Platinurn Jubilee artNities.
I would like to thank the PCC for their continued contribution and support of our PCC meetings. from
planning the agenda, submittin8 reports, reviewin8 draft minutes and supp)rt of other Parish
requirements.

We thanked David Boast for his huge contrtbution to the lrfe of the Church in his terni of thurch Wardenshlp.
He has regulated and streamlined all the pr¢¢￿e$ of the many tr￿Teal￿ratIC aspects of running the parish and
Mary Mofrey was duly eberted as the Rectorfs Warden and has had a bw and hIgh￿ Instrualve year.
Fortunately, she has had some ex￿lIefit tuto￿ in her cdlea8ue Da￿d Dea￿. in Graham Pattrrck as Assistant
Warden and her predecessor Davld all of vAK)m have been unsUntin8 in their Sup1￿ and atfvSce. PCC
the practicalitie5 of 'runnSr< the parsh and we all consider the Churth eXtreft￿tyfortUnate to her on the
team.
We have struggled considerabty with prceressln8 the QLHrNuennial Works and we think tt rs fair to say that we
of 2020 two companies have suNeyed the roof to Mr Ni(holas Ja¢obs' instrurtion-with no result whatsoever.

have tsken on b)ard and tsken steps to address. Two estimates have been recelved to professlonally clean
around the wlndows. to the tOP5 ofthe arches. the hanwn8 lamp5. the window ledges. the sueens and the tiled
areas of the flooring. The costs Invdved are cortsideratAe and w]11 requi￿ some carefijl conslderatlon on
curtailingof the works and negotiation on prKes.
Graham Pattrick has been Ilaisin8 With the Parlsh c￿n¢11 concerning the Queen's Gfeen Canopy to mark the
Occa￿0￿ of her Platinum Jubllee and pernilssion has been obtsined from the Di0￿e for the plantln8 of a yew
tree in the corner of the churchyard nearthe knssing gate. There wlll be a plaqve. Matchi￿ all the others to be
planted in the Village, commemtwatin8 the event The plan is to purthase it as soon a5 possible and plant ¢ so
that come the actual ￿lebratiOnS we will a thri¥4n8 sapliry whith T*lll gr￿ to match the stslwart oaks

The Lavenharn Deanery Synod met twice by Zoom in 2021 and once in person a5 we juggled
wlth the national lockdown and general good sense and caution tryin8 to work out what
was bestl We have had talks by A Rocha, the Christian environmental organisation who
adminlster the E¢trParish scheme, Christians A8alnst Poverty and learned about Chrlstianlty
in Cambodia.
Financially, the overall amount of parish share the deanery was asked for went down, and
that most benefices managed 10(r%, but three stru88led by varyin8 amounts. The overall
amount the deanery will be asked for will be lower this year as a post has been ctrt.
Although Zoom can be at tlmes a challen8ln8 medium, wlth 8ood humour and co-operatlon
the Zoom meetin8s have worked well, althou8h 'in person. meetings are undoubtedly
betterl
We are lookln8 for someone to fill the post of Deanery Organlser (effectively the role of
deanery treasurer) lon8 term, maybe you feel called to help the Deanery? If so. please talk
to your parish prlest who can put you in touch with the Rural Dean.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordancE With the Church Aecounling Regul8tions
2016 together with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic

The financial slatern&nts hava been prepared under Ilie historical cost convention except for the
valuation of inveslrnent a5se15. which are shown at market value. T*e financial statemen15 include all

Endowment Funds are fund5, the capital of which musl be rnaintained, only income arising frorn
