Mainly in the Scottish Borders to**<br>**home sighthounds and we have also**<br>**helped place other breeds of dogs with**<br>**them when members of the public have**<br>**contacted us for help.**<br>**We have maintained a strict policy of**<br>**never euthanising a healthy dog by**<br>**accommodating dogs that would be**<br>**difficult to rehome within the Greyhound**<br>**Rescue North East team, in foster**<br>**placements or permanent residence at**<br>**our kennels.**<br>**We have permanently accommodated any**<br>**dog that are not suitable for rehoming.**|

His contribution is**<br>**fundamental to the care of the dogs and**<br>**the day-to-day running of the charity. He**<br>**also provides the kennelling facilities to**<br>**house the dogs free of charge.**<br>**2 volunteers**<br>**help with work at the**<br>**kennels and 1 of these volunteers also**<br>**runs the Instagram account.**<br>**1 volunteer**<br>**donates her time to walk the**<br>**dogs.**<br>**1 volunteer**<br>**helps with the Facebook**<br>**account.**<br>**2 volunteers**<br>**support admin and**<br>**purchasing for the kennels.**|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 28/06/2025 **Responsibilities and basis of report** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
