Activities
Responsible for the delivery of mental health awareness training for frontline prison staff working at London Prisons. We have also delivered events in the area of alcohol, young offenders older adult healthcare. We have also been provided advice in research and training. We have also delivered an event in the area of Learning disabilities and Offenders for prison, Probation and Police Staff.
Objects: To Promote, For The Public Benefit, The Relief Of Needs Of Prisoners Suffering Fromor At Risk Of Suffering Physical Or Mental Ill Health Or Learningdisabilities/difficulties By Developing, Supporting And Enhancing The Ability Of Frontline Staff To Relieve Those Needs And So Improve The Effectiveness Of Their Care, Inparticular, But Not Exclusively By:(a) Developing And Providing Relevant Multidisciplinary Training Programmesfor Front Line Staff So As To Develop Their Knowledge And Practical Skills;(b) Developing Relevant Skills And Expertise Amongst Those Providing Suchtraining For Front Line Staff So As To Improve The Effectiveness Of Such Training;(c ) Developing And Maintaining A Database Of Research Concerning The Needs Ofsuch Prisoners Together With The Dissemination Of The Useful Results Of Suchresearch;(d) Identifying And Disseminating Best Practice Concerning The Relief Of Thoseneeds And The Care Of Such Prisoners;(e) Evaluating The Impact Of Such Training And Research;(f) Establishing And Developing Links With Government Departments, Thevoluntary Sector, Academic Institutions And Other Relevant Third Parties.definition:'front Line Staff Means Those Working Amongst Prisoners
