**Objects:** TO RELIEVE ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY AND TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH INPARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF FAMILIES WHO HAVE A MEMBER OF THEIR FAMILY WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM A CRITICAL OR TERMINAL ILLNESS OR THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED A BEREAVEMENT BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AT THE AFAN ARGOED COUNTRY PARK, PORT TALBOT OR THE LLYNFI VALLEY MAESTEG FOR SUCH PERSONS AND CARERS AND TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF DISABLED PERSONS BY THE PROVISION OF RECREATION ACTIVITIES INCLUDING MOUNTING BIKING WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT.3 TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM HEAD INJURIES OR IN NEED OF REHABILITATION AFTER SUCH INJURIES BY MAKING GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS SUCH AS HEADWAY.4 THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE LIVING IN THE PHUKET AREA OF THAILAND EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GOODS, GRANTS OR SERVICES.

**Activities:** The Garnwen Trust operates in the South Wales area and is currently providing respite and holidays at the coast staying at the Garnwen Lodge situated at the Heritage Park, Stepaside.  Many families have already felt the benefits, both physically and mentally, of staying at our lodge including children with disabilities as well as adults who are grieving the loss of children/adults.
