|||||HBC's daughter<br>church,<br>Barton Community<br>Church (BCC), is located|||on|
|||||the Barton Estate. The estate has areas within|it ofsocial|deprivation,||
|||||which include increased<br>levels of mental<br>illness,<br>poverty<br>and poor||||
|||||education.<br>The church delivers support to several families||and individuals||
|||||as well as being actively<br>involved<br>in the life of|the community,<br>and|||
|||||administering<br>a foodbank.||||
|||||Staffing||||
|||||Following<br>an offer of appointment<br>being made|and accepted<br>in February|||
|||||2022, a minister for Barton Community<br>Church|joined the|staff in June.||
|||||The part-time<br>Children<br>&Families worker and|Administrator|left his roles||
|||||in March. A new Administrator<br>was appointed,|to begin<br>in|April 2023,|but|
|||||the Children<br>& Families worker role was not re-advertised.||||
|||||The Staff Team consisted of: Senior Minister;|Associate Minister;|||
|||||Children<br>& Families Worker (P/T); Pastor (P/T|—non-stipendiary);|||
|||||Administrator<br>(P/T).||||
|||||Use ofthe Church<br>Building||||
|||||The building<br>was mainly used for Sunday services, Toddlers,<br>Powerpack||||
|||||weekly,<br>Youth,<br>Holiday<br>Club &our 'Church Weekend<br>at Home'.<br>There||||
|||||have been a few external<br>bookings<br>during the|year, including|||
|||||conferences<br>for mission organisations<br>like Wycliffe Bible Translators|||and|
|||||Lymington<br>Rushmore.<br>The building<br>also had small bookings for a film||||
|||||crew and for a social service meeting<br>clients.||||
|||||In May 2022 we held our Church Weekend<br>At|Home with|roaming||
|||||supper,<br>Peter &Chris Jackson speaking,<br>an afternoon<br>ofsocial time|||and|
|||||Saturday<br>night band and mocktails.<br>In December we had Saltmine||||
|||||Theatre company<br>perform<br>Neverland.||||
|||||The policy is that one third ofannual<br>budgeted|expenditure|be held in||
|Briefstatement||ofthe||realisable<br>form.||||
