This report and finanaal statement have been compled to Cofth wilh the
requirements of the Church in Wales and the Charity Cornmlssion as set oul in Ihe
Stalement of Recommended Praclice - Accountiw7g atKI Reporting by Chaillies.
As in previous years. the Bdfry Fund has been incorporated inlo the Financial
Statement.
The Car pa￿ is operated by Twinty CP (Uanth¢k￿) Ltd. A company which is wholty
owned by the Ministry Area.

FINANCIAL POSITION AT THE END OF 2024
As inthcaled ift the Statement of Financial ALlivtbes. the lolal income for the year
2024 15 £205.241. The lotal costs foi the yeai ale £170.757. The surplus of £34.484
has arisen fvom income oeneiabnq aclivibes duiirmj Ihe Lonqesl Yam exhibition.
Donations and income lo Saint Tudno's Church continue being slgnificanty higher
than running costs.
Howevèr, it should be noted that a sum which could be as high as £11.000 is still
owed lo the partners of the Longesi Yam exhilmlion The nel income for the Church
from the Exhilmbon should be in Ihe reqion of £10.000. The position will be
ConfiM￿d when the apF4icalion for Lottery fun¢5ng lowarts the costs of the exhibilion
is knliwn.
The 2024 conbibulion lo Ihe Bishop's Mini51ry Fund is £100.000. The sum of
£72.500 was paid during Ihe year. A balaTr￿ of £27.500 will be pald during 2025.
When the effecl of the Longest Yard exhibilion afKI the balarKe from ieslricled funds
are exduded. the 2024 net suwus fof unrestricted funds: from the day-to-day
runninq costs of HO￿ Trinity Chuich. is £1.912.

PURCHASE DURING THE YEAR
The sound system for Hoty Trinity Church and the Chuich Hall were modemized al a
cost of £2.758. Thi5 was 50% funded by the fun(kraising effort by a n￿rnber of the
conqreqation. The Church Hall also beneffted fvom the inslallation of a new boilef at
a cosl of £2.704. A new fridge freezer was purchased for the Hall kilchen al a cost
of £334 and £362 was spent to iwove the thsplay for the Mustard Seed shop.
INVESTMENTS
The markel value of endowment fund inveslmenls and restrided fund inveslments.
as of 31 December 2024 totaled £364,679. The market value of several Shares has
increased ovef the past 12 months. leathnq to a lotal investrnenl inuease of
£15.893.
RESERVE POLICY
The Church is a registered thaiity b*thich is required by law to maintain a level of
reserve vthich may be required to meet Ihe cosls of unexpecled occJJrren¢e vthich
will not be covered by insuiance. The mone¥ required for the bulthnq works for Ho
Trinty has exhausled Ihe Church ieserves. The Ministry Atea Council needs to
explore ways and means to ￿ld up and maintain the requifed reserve.

The major strategic. business and opefational risks have been exart¥ned by the

Over the courJe of the year. we have seen an incwease in numbers, al be rt shghty
up on the previous year and we have been delghled to wekome new people to the
worshipixng *fe of our chuiches. Vle have especialy seen an increase. in
attendance al Junior thurch, Messy Church and 'Trmy Tots.. The increase in
membership ol Trny Tots, has also led lo an unforeseen devekgrnent. a &"ble study
group aimed al young rnOthe￿ and women. whKh has been meets'ng regularty aTrd

us. It was a highty success￿1 event. ¥th￿h brought peO¢￿e from al ovei the workl lo
our minislry area.
In Novernter H(Ay Trinity. hosted the lown's annual remembrance sefT4ice: with over
500 people atteTrd￿￿ chuich and more than 7000 attefKling the service at the War
Memorial. Prior to the serite I was d￿hled to lead an act of iemembrance for
those who died in the Boer at Sl Tudno's
Throughout the course of the year thefe have been a number of meekngs of
subcomrnittees. and the standmg commrttee lo ensure the smooth admmistration of

We have conb'nued to develop our ch*lren's ministry. workn.rbg closely ￿1h our
church school Ysool San Sior. Sch¢xA ncw vists once a temi to Hoty Trinty for full
school W0￿h1p, with individual yeai grovps visiting Sl T￿In0 s on a regular basis. As
as visrts from our ovn church school we have also had visits from schools as far
away as Che3hire arNJ as close lo hofne as Ysgol Tudno.
This year commernorales the 85th anniverJary of the Wonnhoul Massacre. tt 18
through the tragic events ol May 1940 thal Llandudno is Ivfinned with Womihout. It
ha5 been decKled to launch an appeal lo create a pennanent memorial to those who
losl their the barn in Ihe Memorial Chapel and I'm 9raleful for the hek) and
support that we have ieceived from the cofflrnunty and wlhiTr church to launch the
carnpa￿n to make this happen
This year we also celetKaled Ihe 100th annIve￿ary of the Mem￿la1 Chapel. In
November we hekl a SeTh￿e to rededicale rt to its or￿inal pU￿oSe as a place of
cofflmemorab.on and mem(rfial for an those who have died in the seNice ol olher&
from our comrnunFty.
Also. Ihis year we Sa￿ goodbye to the RevereTrd Janet Fktchef. as she nK)ved ¢)n to
pastufes new. I woukl like lo thank JaTrel on behalf of the MAC for all that she dMI in
the time in whith she had o¥ersvJhl of the Ministry Area.
