## **PCC of Upper Stour - Charity Commission no. 1131161 Treasurer’s Annual Financial Report for 2021** I am pleased to report that, despite the second year of Covid19 affecting the Services and other activities in our Parish, we have had a successful year for the Parish Church Council’s finances. I must thank my predecessor Brian Martin, for his work in previous years and giving me a hard act to follow.. Many thanks also to the LCC treasurers Tony Moorby and Graham Poynton, for their support in managing the finances of their LCCs. Although we have sadly lost two substantial donors to the PCC’s funds, during 2021, we have also welcomed some new members having moved into our area. We do welcome Standing Order Donations to the PCC or the LCCs, especially as Sunday Service Collection donations are, for obvious reasons, much less than half the norm prior to 2020. At the end of 2021 our total income was £129,112 (2020 £129,002) mainly comprised of 66% Voluntary Giving( including Gift Aid) and 20% Fund-raising Events. In 2021 these included October Catering days at Stourton, plus product-sales whilst Illuminating St.Peter’s church in December (which also greatly helped the donations total). Not forgetting the historical play ‘Murder most Foul’ performed in Kilmington churchyard in September. Our total expenditure in the year was £94,218 (2020 £175,844) 60% of which was our Share of Diocesan costs. We fully paid our Share and almost cleared an old balance from 2013 too. Details of the Income and Expenditures for each local Church, the PCC itself and their amalgamation, are shown in the attached schedule.
