Summary of the objects of the
charity set out in its goveming

The Trustees permil the Premises to be used, (Iccupied, and enjoyed as
a place for the public Worship of God, and also for the promotion of such
religious, educational, or charitable purposes as the Church shall direct.
We aim to fulfil our objectives and serve our wider local community
through the provision of th8 following activities which are open to all. We
hold weekly Servi￿s of Public Worship providing Christian Teaching
through Sermons, Bible Studies, and Pray8r Meetings. There are also
weekly services aimed specifically at those from an Asian cultural
herrtage. We are currently hosting weekly:
'Friendship Group, foi older retired people which includes gentle
exercise classes involving fun 'ChairobÉcs'.
Pilates
Communty Choir
Wellbeing Café (monthly). Entertainment and refreshment for
those with earty-stage dementia and their carers.
Men's club. A fortnightly meeting of games and socials as a
contact point for men of all ages.
Baby Massage Courses.
Monthty Setvice and Communion at a local Care Home.

Safeguarding Statement The church is committed to following the Home
Office Code of practice 'Safe from HaThn' and adopts the guidelines and
procedures published by the Wesleyan Reform Union of Churches.

of Worship and smaller fellowship groups, as well as being open for
activities involving all age groups from the local community meeting
together regularfy throughout the year.

Respective The chariVs trustees are responsible for the preparation of tha accounts. The
responsibilities of charit￿S trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section
trustses and examiner 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Chariiies Act) and Ihat an ind8pendent
examination is need8d.
It is my responsibility to=
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
to follow the procedures laid di)wn in the generat Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of th8 Charities Act, and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent My examination was cwried out in aC0)rdan￿ with general Directions given by the
examinerfs statement Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of Ihe accounting records
kept by the charity and a o)mparison of the accounts presented with those records.
It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanations from the trustees conceming any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all th8 eviden￿ that would be required in an
audti, and (J)nsequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a
'true and fairf view and the report is litnited to those matt8rs set out in the statement
below.
