The charity is a trust as agreed by the Charity Commissionaires. Trustees of The Rod( Church: the method of appointment is set out in the Irust doojment. The Rock Church operates through vartous committees, meet between full meetings of the Trustees. Registration number 1130956 The Trustees has assessed the major risks to which the tharity is exposed. and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks. Objectives and activities The charitys objects are: To advance the Christian Faith in suth ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the Wortd as the Trustees think fit. To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship and to relieve the distress caused thereby, on such owsion as the Trustees think fft. The Trustees have the responsibility of co-operating with the thurch leadership team in promoting the whole mission of the church. pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumeniGal and has a number of aclive Gommunity programmes which are aimed at improving the lives of those in the l(&ql (x)mmunity. The Trustees have paid due regard to guidan￿ issued by the Charity Commission in decading what activities the tharity should undertake. Review of the Year The Trustees met during the year, in addition to regular leadership meelings. We continue to se￿e the people of the Church and the local community through the pastoral offices. These make up a signfficant part of The Rock Church ministy.

Congregants retumed to church, after pwticipating on.line. and stwted to rtrengage with activities. Several new mernb￿s. who had discover&J the Rock Church online during the lockdowns joined the church, with mary new families becomiThJ involved. Intemet broadcasting continued to provide a linK with past￿al inwt for those who to remain online. Men's and Women's activities exwded as the year wogressed. churth members in the advancement of the Christian Faith. and supportiThJ otherfs wellbeing. Family events like Pancake Day and a picnic in the local pwk also provided suppcrt for families. Prayer a￿& ￿ studi&s continued. and discipleship training took pla￿ throU￿oUt the year. Two Confffences for Christian DiscipleshFP and training took pl&%, with some involvement from other churches. Also a desi￿ Women's entitled °Power. Financial review It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds whith have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained above a level equivalent to six month's expenditure. The Trustees c£insiders that reseNes al this level will ensure that. in the event of a significant drop in funding. they will be able to continue the charity's current activiÈies while ￿nSideratiOn is given to ways in which additional funds may be raised. THE ROCK CHURCH INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE ROCK CHURCH We report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 Marth 2024. which are Set out on pages 4 lo 6. Respective responsibilitles of Trustees and examiner The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the a￿nts. The (*aiiVs Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act> and that an independent examination is needed. It is our responsibilty to.. examine the accounts under seclion 145 of the 2011 Act" (li) to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act" and (iii) to state vthether particular matters have come to our attention. Basis of independent examlnerfs report Our examination was c2rried out in accordan￿ with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination indudes a rewew of the a(xounting records kept by the charity and a Gomparison of the accounts presented wrth those records. It also includes (x)nsideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all Ihe eviden￿ that would be required in an audit and cDnsequently no opinion is aiven as to whether the accounts present a ts and fair view and Ihe report is limtted lo those matters set out in the ststement below.
