undertaken in gafeguarding, pre-trlal therapy, group therapy. supervision and ISVA and CHISVA.
Alongside this, all $t8ff access regular clinic818upervlgion 8nd the employee assistance programme.
Our staff are a hlghly valued asset and have been InstrumenlBI In declding the priorities for
DRASACS. Afi staff are DBS checked atKI where requlred staff are also vetted by South Yorkshire
Polbce.

ISVA service
Our aim is lo help to glve anyone the confidence, support and infomallon needed lo take control of
their situation and move forward. ISVAS receive specialist trainlng lo support people who have
disclosed sexual violence in order lo provide a tsilored support package. They hove police vetting
clearance and have enhanced DBS checks.
Our ISVA seNlce is 8vai18ble to men, women. children 8nd lamllies, regardless of whether they have
told the pollce or anyone else about the attack. Our ISVAS are fully trained by Lime Culture, and our
ISVA servlce Is accrediled.

The income for the year w88 £774,163 12023: £885,380), and expenditure was £810,123 {2023:
£869,960).
The decrease In Income was as a result of a decrease in grant funding, with 2023 including £65,ODO
lowards leasehold Improvements, 8 £25,000 one year granl, and the final yeavs income of a
mulll-ye8r grant which wasn't renewed for 2024.
Although some varfable expenditure reduced in1Sne with reduced income, the charity has a base level
of fixed costs. so the reduction in expenditure was not as great as that in income.
This resulted In a deficll of £35,960 comp8red lo a surplus of £15,420 in 2023.

to be approxlmately £400,000. Following slgnlficanl expenditure on leasehold improvements in 2023,
unrestrlcted free reserves which were £401,240 al 31 March 2022 fell lo £288,519 al 31 March 2023,
but Increased to £316,433 In 2024. The charity alms to gradually incr&ase reserves to the target level.

June 2009.
The assets of Doncaster Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselllng SeNlce, 8n unincorporAt8d chadty,
were donated lo the charity on 1 April 2010.

In aceordaneo with the charity's constitution new tnJstee8 are appointed by the existing board of
Iruslees.
The trustees regularly review the composition of the board and r8crull new trusteas in the light of skills
8nd experience required and available.

Companies Ael). Th8 Board of Trustees have appointed a CEO, Counselling M8nager and ISVA
Manager who manage DRASACS operatlonally on a day to day bas(8. The B08rd meet5 bi-monthly
and monitors perfonnance, developments and fin8nce.
Our Trustses ar8 all volunteers and use thelr skllls to support DRASACS.

DRASACS conllnues lo dellver ISVA services in collaboration with Barnsley IBSARCSI, Rotherham
IRothACSI and Sheffield ISRASACI, under the umbrella of the South Yorkshire Sexual Violence
Partnershlp (CIO) supporting poople who have reported sexual offences to the Police on their journey
through the CTlminal justice process.
DRASACS Is also part of the Donc88t8r Crisis Allernatlve Alliance, a contract commissloned by South
Yorkshlre ICB, partnering wlth Doncaster Mind, People Focussed Group, and Open Mlnds to deliver
mental health support.
