The aim of the Charitable Trust is to benefit the local community by providing an affordable, accessible venue for a wide and diverse variety of community activities, including those of an educational, welfare and recreational nature ie Coffee mornings, Skittle evenings, Quiz nights, Barn Dances, Yoga, Dance Classes, childrens parties to name but a few.
Objects: The Property And The Trust Fund And Its Income Shall Be Applied For Thepurposes Of A Village Hall With Preference For The Use Of The Inhabitants Of Theparish Of Sopley Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability,nationality, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, Including Use Of Theproperty For Meetings, Lectures And Classes Or Other Forms Of Recreation Andleisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Ofimproving The Conditions Of Life For The Inhabitants Of The Parish Of Sopley.
