In September 2024, Orchard Grove Church was ccMnmi￿C￿d by the PCC of Al Saints Trull, who have ovgrall
re3ponsibllrty for this new church prqect, ts finances and its legal re5pJn5its'lrtYds. R8v Jon Ball, licensed as
Assoryate Minister for Orchard Gmve Church in 2025, chairs the Orthard Grove Ministry Leadership Team and
reports to the PCC.

AJI Saints Church. Trull is the long<stabli8hed thufch in the ¥ll￿e of Trull ￿th a traditionat thurch
building and a separate 11 year old CL￿m￿n￿ centre (The TnJll Chur(* Community Centre ￿cCC>).
Orchard Grove is a new thurch started in Septembtr 2024 to seNé the Community cl the new
housing develo￿ent in Orch¥d Grove.
2025 has been a highly successful and encouraging year. The number of poopla attending 5ervice8
and other évents atAII Sant$ Trull has stable ¥￿th a small number of leavers and newcome￿.
Or¢hord Grove Churth has enjoyed rt8 first fLII year and has seen signffjcanl growth as il has becL¥n•
esta￿1Shed within the new Orch¥d Grove C￿m￿nity. A substanti81 fund was £¥eat￿ through highly
generous g￿ing from thurch members ¥*thich Vlill support the duBI of All Saints TNII and
OrGhard Grove Church in the immediate years knad.
Major building wcKk8 to reluthsh the bels arKI Strength￿ thé bdty QIAII S•'nl8 chl￿ were
completed. Interior %4vk ￿ the Churth imidwng rth¥iring. refvrb15hing Ihe lighling and redec(Yating,
were planned and commissi￿ed and are due to be carried out in the early part of 2026. Work was
also carried c￿t on the thurch ror p¥rk to imwove drainage and to avryd flooding.

attending al least once a month. In October 2025 thts wa5 233 (Ir￿udIng 7 at hom8, watching the
Ilvestream), made up of 189 al hjl Saints TTUII and 44 at Orchard Grove. Thi$ comp8res wth a total of
218 in ort 2024 {185 at Al Saints TNI, 318t Orchard Grovè) arKI 209 at Saints Tn￿1 In 2023.
The Electoral Roll had 222 names al tha annual meets'ng in April 2025. c£Jmpared with 246 in
April 2024 and 243 in Apn"12023. In 2025 the 8ver8ge weekly attendance atAII Saints Trull Jnd
Orchard Grov8 Church services was 151 aduts and 28 children, a ftr￿ more people watching
h'vfrslreamed services.. thi5 ¢￿p9[e8 V*ilh 180 adul18 and 28 cfwldren in 2024. 140 aduts and 23
chddren in 2023.

manager who oversaw the Hive cafe, managed the bjilth'ng and the bt¢Jkn"ng ol vanous thurth spacej

rxcLKred in the churth part of the carpark. Consequen￿Y the PCC airthorised work to bE undertaken

Tnrtl Church ComMu￿Y Centre
The TCCC is subject to a Sth￿le of regular maintenwKe wort The main nsTrrtyJtine mainlenance
tr￿1 was undertaken in 2025 included the inslallalion of rw Ilo(wMig in the HNe café, repainb'ng of the

café and rO￿rnent of the ceil'ng sound baffles and to manage an issue V•ith a part ofthe
hall fli>or tiles rising.
Pastoral work
A pastoral care team of around 5 ￿ 8 church members regularty ￿SIted more vulnerable people in
their homes and in care homes. The Parish Links team delivered the monthly Parish Magazine to
homes throughout Parith and are able lo notsfy the dergy of any people in need of a viyL
Hlve Café
The Hive calé operated thithin the TCCC and was generally (yen every weekday from 10 8.rn. until 4
p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. untll 12 no￿. The café is run by a learn of 37 volunteers
induding three volunteer managers. AJI staff have undergone appropriate traiThng arKI have passed
Ftr)d and Hygiene exams and sc#ne have passed Food Allergy and Intolerance training. Occa5icfialty
15 year old students have been tsken on to do'community Ser¥Ke' as a part of their working towards
Duke of EdinburghAward.

The café is g hugety successful ￿terpriSe, not only in piowding 8 meeting ￿•t¢ for Iccal people but
so in providing a JOLxce of •*Jili￿al income towards Ihe cost5 of maintaining the TCCC. In 2025 it
contributed around £31,000.
Orch•nl Grov• Coff•e Well
The Orch¥d Grove Church hired a coffee bike, using il on Monday mcffiings and durfng the 8umm¢r
month8 ¢)n Sunday 8ft8m<)on$. The sale of collee frryn bike yovided 8 platfomi for gotsj
conversation pecple from the c(¥nmunity and ha8 provhdod the opwtunity to hand out 8ible8
and lo pray peO￿e loo.

and fostering and adoption groups. The income from the hiring of these TCh)ms 8mourrted to Sround
£32,000 over the year, olwhich £10,505 related lo Trull SaWings thsthjol. This makes another

Commission and the Church of England in 2019.
