Activities

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is the official charity and community arm of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Using the power of cricket, the foundation aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire. Focusing on four themes of Education, Health & Wellbeing, Heritage and Participation, using the brand of Yorkshire Cricket to affect communities all over Yorkshire.

Objects: The Charity's Objects ("The Objects") Are For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And, In Particular, The Inhabitants Of Yorkshire:-(1) To Provide And Promote Facilities For The Playing Of Cricket And Other Sports Inorder To:(a) Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation And Improve Thegeneral Health Of Those Participating; And(b) Improve The Quality And Condition Of Life For Those Persons Who Haveneed For Such Facilities (In The Interests Of Social Welfare) By Reason Oftheir Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social Andeconomic Circumstances, Or For The Public At Large;(2) To Advance The Education Of Children And Young People Through Such Means Asthe Directors Think Fit In Accordance With The Law Of Charity.(3) To Advance Education Of The Public In The History And Heritage Of Yorkshire Cricketin Particular But Not Exclusively By The Establishment And Maintenance Of Amuseum
