Law applicable to charities in England and W8les requires the PRrochi3J Church Council to pryare
fin8ncial statements for each finaacial Ye￿ which give a ttue and fair view of the Chllrch's financial
activities during the year 2nd of its flltsncial position at tbe end of the year. In preP￿ing financial
statements giving a true and fair view the Parocbial Church Council shouId follow best practice and:
select suitable accounting policies and apply tkn consistendy.
b) make judgements and eStlu￿teS that are reasonabIe arid pruden¢
state whether applicable Accounting Standards and Statemellts of Recommended Practice have
been followel subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the fjnancial statements: and
d) prepare the fi[￿n¢la1 statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to assume that
the Church will continue its activities.
The Parochial Church Council is TespoDsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose, with
reasonable accuracy, the finallcial position of the Church, and which enable them to both ascertain the
financial position of the Church and ensure that the fillancial ststements comply with applicable
regulations. It is also responsibEe for safeguarding the assets of the Church and hence for taking
reasO]￿ble stsps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Rdspeclive responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The CI￿lty'S trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider
tbat all audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the ch￿ltieS Act)
and that an illdependent exami￿0￿ is needed.
It is out responsibility to:

follow the pr()cedures laid down in tbe general Directions given by tbe Charity Con]mission
(under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act. and
to state wbether particul￿ matters have come to our attention.
Basis of independent examiners, statement
Our exanunation was carried out in accordance with general.Dixections given by the Charity
Comrnission. An exau]ination includes a review of the accoulltillg records kcpt by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presenteLI with those records. It ￿s0 illcludes consideration of
any unwual iten]s or d1scl0sL￿eS in the accounls and scekittg explanations from the trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that
would be required in all audit and consequendy llo opinÉon is given as to whether the accounts
present a 'true and fair, view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement
below.
Independent examiners, statement
In connection Iwith our ewarn1r￿ti0n no ll￿terial matters have come to our attention which gives
us cause to believe that in, any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records.
We have come across no other matters in connection with the exan]ination to which attention
should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of
e accounts to be reached.
