Wrenthorpe Community Association Limited provides the Village Hall and Valley CrescentCommunity Centre for the use of the residents of Wrenthorpe and surrounding areas.The objective of the charitable company is to provide and maintain these premises, and improve theconditions of life for the beneficiaries and offer equal opportunities for all.
Objects: The Charity's Objects ("The Objects") Are: - To Provide And Maintain A Village Hall For The Use Of The Residents Of Wrenthorpe And Surrounding Areas, With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Beneficiaries, And Offering Equal Opportunities Whatever Their Gender, Sexual Orientation, Age, Race, Religion, Political Opinions, Ability Or Means - To Further Or Benefit The Beneficiaries By Providing Opportunities For Association, Enhancing Community Spirit And Developing Community Cohesion And As Appropriate Working With Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort; - To Advance Education, Disseminate Information And Provide Facilities For Recreation, Meetings, And Other Forms Of Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Aim Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Beneficiaries. - To Assist Individuals To Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent And Responsible Individuals - To Relieve Poverty, In Particular Food Poverty, In Wrenthorpe And Local Surrounding Areas, By Means Including Facilitating Donations Of Food And Other Supplies To Food Banks That Serve The Needs Of Those Suffering, Or In Danger Of Suffering, Poverty.
