Ob ects and Public B￿¢fil
The Objects of the Trust are for the ben¢fit of the public in Africa and especially Saharan Afri￿ through the
advancement of th¢ Christian Faith. relieving hardship. and advar￿¢￿t of education. This is achieved
through 8rants of money. goods and 8ervices.
A¢tÉvities
The main activity of the Trust is to rais¢ awareness of the needs in Niger and r￿Qlv¢ donations for the
support of Mission Evallgélique Salwienu¢ in Nigcr. The donations rec¢iveAJ thi8 year are set out in the
accounts.
As trustees we are confident that the fimds we raise and send to R¢v. Stephen Baggott are used for charitable
purposes. We belieye this becau￿ of our personal knowledg¢ of Stephen him8¢lf. the monthly prnyer news
and the annual Mission Evangélique Sahariame Field Rq)ort prepared by steph￿ th¢ Superint¢nd¢nt. The
activities h¢ records ar¢ what w¢ ¢xpect of bim &8 a Christian Missionary.
A ￿ws1¢tter-strearnS in the D￿ert- is prOth￿ed and sent out three tirlles a year to all supporters.
Many supporter8 al80 recekve a monthty email diffcdy from Rev Stephen Ba8got¢
Thc¥c were no dcputation meetings undertsken this ycar.
Finances
Monies arc sent out to Nig¢r when requested by Rev Stephen Ba88OtL
During the year we received £56.747 in donatiot)s and sent £43.910 to Niger. Publication and ¢ir¢ulation of
"Streams in th¢ D¢s¢rt" cost £704, leaving a balance in the UK of £22.137 8t the end of Febnwy.
R¢s¢rves
W¢ do not have a reserves policy because all moni¢$ art hcld in the UK for the Director in Niger to call on as
and wh¢n he requires th¢m. 0￿Y a small amouttt would be requir¢d to cover Iixal expenses - any
outstanding bills for the Streams newsktter.
