maintaining the [￿pertIeS by the estsblt5hment of three funds coverlnB Extraordinary Repair.
Cyclical Malntenance and Routlne Malntenante. As a result the properties a￿ maintained In a 8ocKI
state of repair and improvement for the comfort and amenlty of thè restdent benefjdaiies.
Thos financlal year saw fvrther heating uwades at Unton Street and Polebam Road. All of the Trusts
proptrtres now have gas cenirnl heaiiw with exceojon to one property laccessibllrry).
We welcomed a new be￿rKlary In April 2023 lo Polebam Road. Mr5 Grea￿￿. who h35 settled In
very well. Thls cottage was fitted ¥Mth a new ￿tChen. new flooring to the kitchen. bathroom and
bedroom. The property now meets a high Standard. The Trust Is very proud of the Thewly refvrtmshe
¢0tta8e and in￿ted the Mayor. Graham Holl. tho Trustees. the nel8hbou￿n8 benef￿[aries and The
Wiltshire fimes to vlew the property. Artkle5 were In the v411tsN￿ frne5 and the Almsh
AsWciati￿ Gatttte.
In May, Mrs Heslop, a long tem) beneficiary of the Trust sadty passed away. In hospital, aged 102.
Her chararter In the commufilty will bè great￿ M￿Sed. She (￿L￿pied a (ottaee in Pdebam Road f
20year5.
At this property, there was a 8reat deal of upp3dln8 to be done once it became empty. Gas tentTrl
heating was frted, a new bathrix)m with Internal InyJlatTron, a new kitthen teilln& new kftckn. The
flooriryq to the lounge and bedroom wa5 in suth disrepair it had to be rerrwd and rth¥ stre¢d lald.
All of the walls were strrpped back and pListered.
The Trust made se4eral donaiions to local tharilles.. Wiltshlie Alr knbulance, Domthy House •nd
TrowtKid8e T•lklno News. All charitiu were sinwelygrateful for thtTrusts donatlo
A¥onfield Nursery tn Hilperton. aga1￿ very klndty 8lfted the Trum ihe ￿￿nderful baskets to
Union Street.
