Independent Examiner's Report to the Parochlal Chur¢h Councll of All Saints. Kings Langley
I report on the accounts of the Parochial Church CounLII {°PCC") for the year ended 31 December
2023 which are set out on pages 1 to 6.
Respective responsibilities of the PCC and the examiner
The members of the PCC are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The PCC consider Ihat
an audit is not required for this accounting year (under Section 14412) of the Charities Act 2011 (the
2011 Act)) and that an independent examination is needed.
11 is my responsibility:
to examine the accounts under Section 145 of the 2011 Act,.
lo follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners under Section 14515)(b) of the 2011 Act- and
lo stale whether particular matters have come lo my attention.
Basls of Independent examlnerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordance bwth the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners. That examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the PCC and
a comparison of the accounts with those records. It also includes considering any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees conceming any such
matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an
audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts presènt a "trua and fair view"
and the report is limited lo thos8 matters set out in the statement below.
Indepondent Examlner's statement
In conne¢lion with my examination, no matter has come to my artention-.
(1)
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any materlal respect, the requirements:
to keep accounting recf)rds in arxordance with se¢tlon 130 of the 2011 Act. and
to prepare accounls which accord with the accounting records and comply with tha
accounting requirements of the 2011 Act have not been met: or
{2}
to which, in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understsnding
of the accounts to be reached.
