Our values are entrenched in our very clear mission to restore families and change lives. We aitn to achieve this goal through weekly sermon5 and teachings, which are held on Sunday morning5 in colljunaion with weekly Bible Study and Prayer Meeting5. Other ministry groups have been Ireated to specifically target the needs of our growing congregation. Sunday school was for children aged 4-12 years and yourh 13-18. For new converts we offer specially designed classes called Milk to Meat. We a150 have both a Women'5 and Men'5, Ministry which aims to prowde a 5UPPOrt nerwork for spiritual growth. There are topical 5errinars to addre55 matters such as Core family value5 a150 held throughout the year. There is a well stablished annual Family Focus conference with invited speakers of distinction. Revlew of ActNities The Trustees. Elders and Members of Gomer Faith Ministries are cornmitted to,'restorin8farnilies and changing lives., One of the i¥ays that the ministry reaches Out to the wider cornrnunity is via a weekly one hour radio programme. We also started a 30 minute program on World Faith TV. Both shows address tOPlC5 of concern such as.. family values, parenting.. confidence buildinL career choices.. fear, spiritual growth and community involvement. We aim to unravel the complexitie5 of these issues and suggesr a ran8e of practical solutions for Christians and non-christians alike. Throu8hout the year re5perted speakers of note were invited to minister Sermons. run training workshops on general topics of interÈ5t as well as current socitrpolitical issues. The speakers eloquently dissett the Word of the Lord. for all audience5 and levels tsf understanding. Church rnembers, vi5itor5 and invited communityguests have found it ¢nformative. sUPPOrtive and empowerin8. Corporate Prayer and Fa5tin8 was held in January. Apfil and again in September. At the premises at Destiny Centre which we share with other churches. we begin church at 13..1J) to 14..30 with time for fellowship afterwards. We also have the space available every other Friday which is used for Worship practice. We recognised International Women's Day in March followed by an Afternoon Tea event at Mulberry House in Ongar. We also celebrated Moiherfs Day in March. The Annual Eastw prograrn was held in April in the sanauary and on YouTube with the Easter Sunday service led by Pastor Michael A Lewi5. August ihe church was blessed to corne togetherfor a Family Fun Day at Hainault Forest Country Park. September began with prayer and f3stingwith thetheme"Having A Renewed Mindset" On the 22nd September we ielebrated Harvest Festival In October we held Family FotU5 over fovr week5. The theme was Commitred to the Fumiyy. We invited Pastor Andrew to leach on Singles, Pastor Andrew on Couples. Pastor Michael on Children and Dwight Mccook on Young people. It was a great time of learning how God wants us to focu5 On the family. On Friday the 6 Deternber we held ovr"Winter Ball-. The even*ng opened and c105ed with a selection of festive songs from our Praise and Wwship team. a beautiful time was enjoyed by members of the rninistry. ourfatnilie5 and friends. For Christmas we celebrated the Saviourfs birth vAth a wonderful Carol Service. Hampers We￿ passed out to the homeless charity Branches, Lyndon Children Family Hub and individua15 in need. p&5
