Gomer Faith Ministries 15 a non-dènominational Churth, which was registefed as a charlty on 25, June 2009. It
is governed by a De¢laration of Trust, sealed on the 2 November 2￿7 and operates in accordance with its
Constitution.
The policy and operating de¢ision5 of the Charity rest with the Trustees who meet regularly to monitor the
activities of the Trust.

New trustees are appointed by the Elders of the Churchlthe Trustees.
A minimum of three tyustèes are required by the Detlaration of Trust unless one of the trustee5 15 a trust
corporation. Trustees are appointed or removed by a majority vote of all trustee5 present.
New trustees are provided with a copy of the declaration of trust and the constitution together with the latest
report and accounts and are expected to attend approprsate seminars. meetings and conferences held in the
vear.

The trustees are already familiar with the practical work of the Charity ha¥in8 been involved in othèr capacities
or because of experience gained in their own churches or organisatiort5.
New trustees are provided with a copy of the Declaration of Trust and the Constitution. together with the latest
report and accounts. They are expected to attend appropriate seminars. meetings and conference5 held
throu8hout the year.

At meetings. the Trustees the broad strategy and areas of attivity for the Charity. including consideration
of grant making applications, investment. reserves and risk management policies and performance.
The Charity tonsists of Gomer Faith MSnistrie5. The overseer of the Charity is Pastor Michael A Lewis who is also
a Trustee. The day to day adrninistraiion of the Charity is delegated to the Pastor and the Administrator. The
trustees wish to express their sincere appreuation and thanks to all volunteers and supportèr5 for their
dedication and hard work.

The trustees have continued to assess the major risks to which the Charity rs exposed. in particular those related
to the operation5 and finances of the Charity. The trustees are Satisfied that adequate systems are in place to
mitigate exposure to major risks. In addition. a Covid-19 Risk A55essment has been created for its members
safety and accordin8 to governmènt guideline requirement.

Oblectlves of the Charlty
The objective5 of Gomer Faith Ministries are to promote the Kingdom of God through Christ13n faith and valuès;
and to asslst individuals and families to live effective and suc￿sSful lives. Our values are entrenched in our very
clear mission to restore families and change lives. We aim to achieve this go31 through weekly sermons and
teaching5, which are held on Sunday mornings in conjunction with weekly Bible Study and Prayer Meetin8S.
Other ministry groups have been created to specifically target the needs of our growin8 congregation. Sunday
school was for childrÈn aged 4-12 years and youth 13-18.
For new converts we offer specially desiEt)ed classes called Milk to Meat. Wè also have both a Women's and
Men's, Ministry which aims to prowde a support network for spiritual growth. There are topical seminars to
address matters such as core family values also held throughout the year. There is a well stabli5hed annual
Family Focu5 conference with invited speakers of distinction.
Revlew of Artivities
The Trustees, Elder5 and Members of Gomer Faith Ministries are Committed to.'restoring families and changing
live5.' One of the ways that the ministry reaches out to the wider community is via a weekly one hour radlo
programme. The show3ddie55estopics of concern such as= familyvalues. parenting.. confidence building, career
choite5; fear, spiritual growth and community involvement. We aim to unravel the complexities of these issues
and suggest a ran8e of practical solutions for Christians and non<hristians alikè.
Throughout the year respected speaker5 of note were invited to minister sermon5, run training workshops on
general topics of interest as well as current socio-political issues. The speaker5 eloquently dissect the Word of
the Lord. for all audiences and levels of understanding. Church rnembers. visitors and invited community guests
have found it informative, 5UPPOrtive and empowering.
Corporate Prayer and Fasting was held in January, April and again in September.
Wlth our new premlses at Destiny Centre which we share with other churche5, we bogin church at 13..W to
14:30 with time for fellowship afterwards. We also have the space available every othèr Friday which is used
for Worshlp prarti￿.
We recogni5ed International Women's Day in March followed by an Afternoon Tea.
Motherfs Day in March.
We also celebrated
The Annual Easter program was held in April on live and on YouTube with the Easter Sundèy service led by Pastor
Michael A Lewis. The theme was Empty crn￿. Empty Tornb.
In June we be8an to organise our community programme called the Aruka Fund. We were able to help with
vouchers for families with children who nee(Jed school uniform& Thi5 was completed in the autumn term. We
also celebrated Fatherfs Day in June.
Avgust the church was blessed to come together for a Family Fun Day at Hainauli Forest Country Park.
September be8an with prayer and fa5tin8 wilh the theme 'Abide in Me,. On the 24th September we celebrated
Harvest Festival. In September we also invited Sister Claudine to join us to help with ministry to the youth. We
believe great things will be achieved throu8h her faith in God.
In October we held Family Focus over five weeks. The theme wa5 Moving fogether as o Fomily. We invited
Pastor Delrose to teach on Singles. Pastor Andiew on Couples. Pastor Michael on Children. Dwight Mccook on
Young people and Pastor Fyrcy on Famity- It was a great time of leaming how God wants us to focus on the
family.

Foi ChflStm85 we celebrated the Sawourf5 birth with a wonderful Carol Service. Hampers were passed out to
the homeless charity Branches and to Lyndon Children Family Hub.
Thechur
Gomer Faith Ministrles continues to baptise new believers. Sunday school and Youth Ministry continue to grow
in 5Pllltual development. Also the church assisted families by dedicating their newborns to the Lord.
The Missl
This year Gomer Faith Mlnistry supported Waltham Forest by donatingvou¢her5fof children who needed school
unrforms and hampers for the homeless charities Branches and Lyndon Children Family Hub.
We have referred to the guidance cofttaine(l in the Charity Commission's General Guidance on public benefit
when reviewing our airn and objectives and in planning our future activities. In particular. The Trustees consider
how planned artivitie5 will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set.
Totsi receipts for ihe year were £58.581 and total payments for the year werè £62,775 giving a net deficit for
the year of1£4.1941.

Costs of 8eneratin8 funds comprise the wsts associated with attraain8 voluntary income.
Charttable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivÈr3nce of its activities and
services for it5 beneficiaries. It include5 both costs that can be allocated directly to such activitie5 and those
costs of an indirett nature necessary to support them.
Governance c05t include those costs 355(Kiated with meeting the constitutional and statutory
Requirements of the charity and indude the Independent Examiners fees and cost5 linked to the strategic
management of the charity.
All costs are allocated between the expenditure categories of the Statement of Financial Artivities on a basis
