The TrusteÈ5 of Gomer Faith Ministries hereby submit their Report, together with the Financial Statements of
the Charity for the year ending 31° Decernber 21. The finanual statements have been prepared on the
accounting policies as set out in note l. and comply with the Chaiivs Trust Deed Applicable Law and the
requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practi￿-ACco￿ntln8 and Reporting by Charities."

Gomer Faith Minisiries is a non4enominational Church. which was registered as a charity on 25, June 2009. It
IS governed by a Declaration of Trust. se3led on the 2 November 2￿7 and operates in accordance with its
Constitution.
The policy and operating decisions of the Charity rest with the Trustees who meet regularly to monrtoi the
activitie5 of the Trust.
Recruitment and A
intm
New trustees are appointed by the Elders of the Churchlthe Trustee&
A minimum of three trustees are required by the Declaration of Trust unless one of the trustees Is a trust
corporation. Trustees are appointed or removed by a majority vote of all trustees present.
New trustees are provided with a copy of the declaration of trust and the consiitution together with the latest
report and accounts and are expected to attend appropriate seminars. meetings and conferences helll in the
year.
Trustee Induttion and Trainin
The trustees are alieady familiar with the practical work of the Charity having been involved in other capacities
or because of experience gained in their own churthe5 or organi5ations.
New trustees are provided with a copy of the Declaration of Trust and the Constitution, together with the
latest report and accounts. They are experted to attend appropriate seminars, meetings and conferences held
throughout the year.

At meetings. the Trustees agree the broad strategy and areas of auivity foi Ihe Charity, including
consideration of grant making applications. investment, reserves and risk management policies and
performance.
The Charity con51St5 of Gomer Faith Ministrie5. The overseer of the Charity is Pastor Michael A Lewis who is
a150 a Trustee. The day to day administration of the Charity is delegated to the Pastor and the Administralor.
The trustees wish to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to all volunteers and supporters for their
dedication and haid work.

ement
The trustees have continued to assess the majoT risks to whith thè Charity is exposed. in particular those
related to the operations and finances of the Charity. The trustee5 are 5at15fied that adequate systems are in
place to mitigate exposure to major risks. In addilion. a Covid-19 Risk Assessment has been created for its
members safety and accordbng to Bovernment guideline requirernent.

Oblect5ves of the Charlty
The objecrives of Gomer Faith Mini5trie5 are to prornote the Kingdom of God through Christian faith and
values.. and to assist individua15 and families to live effective and successful live5. Our values are entrenched in
our very cleaT mission to restore families and change lives. We aim to athieve thi5 goal through weekly
Sermons and teachings, which are held on Sunday mornings in conjunction with weekly Bible Study and Prayer
Meetin85. Other ministry groups have been created to specifically target the needs of our growing
congregation. These groups include Toddlers aged 24 year5. Sunday school for children aged 4-9 years, Junior
Ministry for ages 9-14 years and youth Ministry for young people age(115-18 years.
For new converts we offer specially designed classes called Milk to Meat. We also have both a Wornen's and
Men's, Ministry which aims to prowde a support network for spirFtual growth. There are topical seminars to
address matters such as core family values also held thioughout the year. There is a well established annual
Family Focus conference with invited speakers of distinrtion.
Rèvièw of Aciivities
The Trustees, Elders and Members of Gomer Faith Ministries are committed to. 're5toring families and
changing lives., One of the ways that the ministry reaches out to ihe widef community 15 via a weekly one
hour radio programme. The show provides Scriptu￿ readings. gospel music and prayer.
Corporate Prayer and Fasting was held for one week in January. March and again in September on Zoom.
Due to the pandemic the UK went into loekdown and 5eNce5 were disrupted. The church also was required to
move premises and found a new home in Tottenham in March. However, the church still kept an online
presence for its member5 who were still isolating. Sunday services were first held on conference calls and
then moved to zoom meetings. Special loom meettngs were held for young people and Sunday school.
International Women'5 Day in March was titled Women Who Know. It was blessed by ¥arious in-house
speakers, spoken word and song.
The Annual Easter program was held in April live and on 200m with thè Easter Sunday service led by Pastor
Pyrcy Mor50n. The theme was Noiled to the Cross. It began on Thursday with a message from Pastor C. On
Good Friday rnorning the church was b5e55ed with a message from Pastor Leroy. In the evenin& the young
dults ènjoy a "50fa talk"1 On ResurrertTron Sunday the rnessa8e was presented by Pastor C.
In May we began to organise our Back-to-school pro8ramme to donate backpacks. stationary and uniforms to
familie5 in need. We 5ucce55fully raised our goal of El.000. However. we have noi connecied to a school a5
yet and hope to soon.
In June we celebrated Fathe¢s Day with the children gimng out ￿rtIfiCateS to the men of value in their lives.
In September we prèsented the Marriage Seminar 25126 Septernber, therne "Match Made in Heaven". As a
first for GFM, we taped part of this semtnar profe￿lOnallY with TMH Media which then aired it for us. We also
invited different couples in the church to discu55 what they felt was important in their relationship. It was a
very successful weekend.
We also used TMH Media in Ortober when we taped Family Focu5 held on 23124, October with the therne
urning Your Hearts Towards the Familf. Again, thi5 wa5 3 very successful weekend.
In December the thurch moved from Tottenham to Destiny House. Here GFM are sharing the premises with
other thurches. so our service has moved to 13.-(XP2."30PM with lime for fellowship afterwards. We have also
continued to have our 5ervice5 on zoom. At Destiny House the benefit to this is that we have entered into a

riv&year contract which wnean5 that our presence is now stable as we have had to move around several times
in the last two years.
For Christmas we celebrated the Saviourf5 birth with a wonderful Carol Service. It was a lovely way to begin
our time in our new surroundin25. We ended the year with an amazing New Yearfs Eve service with Pastor
Prycy.
The Church
Gorner Faith Mini5trte5 continue5 to 8row a steady flow of young new Believers.
The Toddler group. with a Tegular cohort of fNe children- Sunday school and Youth Ministry continue to grow
in number and spiritual development.
The Missions
The ministry Continues to support the work carri￿ out by Waltham Forest Youth for Christ with prayers.
Public Benefi
We have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's General Guidance on public benefit
when reviewing our aim and objective5 and in planning our future activities. In particular. The Trustees
consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set.
Total receipts for the year were £47,449 and total payments for the year were £42,827 giving a net surplus for
the year of £4.622.

receipts and payments of the Charity for the year.
We are responsible for keeping proper account records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any tirne

Charities Act 1991. In preparing the accounts, the Trustees should follow best practice and confirm that they

Grants. donations and other gifts receivable for the general purposes of the Charity are crèdited to
unrestricred funds. Donations for purposes restricted by the wishes of the donor are taken to restricted funds.
3. Resources expended
Costs of generating funds comprise the costs a550ciated with attracting voluntary income.
Charitable expenditure comprises ihose costs incurred by the charity in the deliverance of its activities and
services for its beneficiaries. It includes both cost5 that can be allocated directly to such activities and those
Costs of an indirect nature necessary to support thern.
Governance cost include those costs a550ciated with meeting the constitutional and statutory
Requirements of the charity and include the Independent Examiners fees and costs linked to the strategic
management of the charity.
All costs are allocated between the expenditure categories of the statement of Financial Activities on a ba515
