Congregalion numbers have continued to grow and it has been our pleasure to wekome so many new fatrs. Our chlldren's c￿Jb has alg) continued to go from strength to strength with the Introductlon of godly pkiy, by Bev. We also offer our ' congratulations to Bev, who corn￿eted her lay ¥vorshlp leadership course in 2023. . The paTh5h continued its vgjal busy schedule of activities and servi￿5 in 2023. In May our churches lead our cornmunth5 of Skipton and Draughton in ￿lebratiOn of the coronatlon of ￿n9 Charles III a busy CMC setyl￿. In November we wtre alg) honoured to once again host Skipton's Remembran￿ Sunday se￿(e, In June we were delighted to Cele￿ate wlth our curate Dougi who was OrdaIn￿ as a ¥le at a selv1￿ In Ripon Cathedral. We look forvvard to SuppO￿n9 D)ug in the next pha of hls trainin9 as he works towards comp￿ting hi turacy and acquiring his own parfsh. The effort5 to progress the repalr and repla￿ment of the heating at Hoty TrSnlty made slgnlflcant progress durlng the year. Hans were drdwn up and agreed by the FCC for the re￿a￿ment of the ￿Stsng gas fired system with a new carbon neutral Wem, utllislng air source heat purnps. This represents an Important step towards the church meettng its pledge to achieve cart)on neutral status. In addf(ion, It was prowsd and ag￿ed by the FCC that we should take Ihls opportunity to undertake exclung work to improve the accessibility of the church. Facuty appro￿dI for these works was acquired by the end of the year and focus has now turned to the important task of fund raising. It is irnportant to take thls opportunty to thank all of those Invofved In pmgressing this project so far. Deserving special thanks and meTh￿0n Is Andy Sumnall, who has taken on the trtanic task of lialsing with our architects and who worked ￿ hard to coMp￿te the faculty ap￿1(at￿)n. We now I￿k forward to the new year wth hope for growth. Report from PCC secretary 2023 was a very year foi the FJCC. We held our usual meetings plus 2 extraordinary rnee￿ngs. The flrst of these was In June to have a first look at the architects, recommendètiong for the heatlng project and the second was in August, rnainly to look at the accesgbllty proposals and sorne changes ttb the original heating plans. We have also taken a number of deosions by email vote in order to make as ray"d prng￿ as possble our application to the dlocese, The FCC agreed to allocate up to E150,(M)O from the Thornas Drake memorkll fund to be used as match funding towards the heatlng project.

The dedKation and Commitment of the congregation is to be commended as we navigate this challenging time. It is, of course, very posSIb￿ that we are tEing Imp&ted in nurn￿rs due to the lack of heating, but it Is difficult ts> accuratdy asss this. Another significant development Is the increase In donatlons from vigtors to the church, In part due to the instrdllatron of a card gNing machlne.
