Wives Club Report Sept.2019 to4d•p8h202 Wwes Club Report September 21- July 22 On September 13th the Wives Club resumed after a long break due to Covid 19. We made a tenlalive start using the Primary Room so we could distance the chairs,which we sanilised. Doors and windows were opened for ventilation. The programme was mostly in house aclivilies. auizies. Bingo and our childhood photos, my how we changed! By November we invited a few speakers. Our last meeting of the year being our Christmas lunch al the Kirtlington Gow Club. The De¢ember meetings were cancelled as Covid cases rose again February 2022 began with a Getting to know you session as we have a number of new members. Pam Newell shared about Hidden place of Rome. others speakers were Dennis Ni2ioI. Nais House, and Lesley Charnock who invited us lo her 9aiden in June. She provided a lovely lea. The Spring lunch was at the Blue Diamond Garden Centre. For the Queens Jubilee the room was decorated and we enjoyed a fine tea. Other activities were a town trail, Carpet 8owls. and objects from our holidays which members talked about. Last meeting before the summer break was a bring and share lunch. Donations were given to the Ukraine Appeal, Fair Trade and the Church. Thanks to Helen and the team for giving us an interesb.ng and varied programme. We a always pleased to welcome new members on Monday aftemoons. Joan Francis
