MCF Life Church Report 2021/2022
MCF Life Church continues to move forward and grow spiritually deeper in the Lord. In January 2022 MCF Life Church started meetings on Sunday morning in Castle Bromwich, whilst continuing our Sunday evening meetings at Coleshill. We have started reaching out to the community with ‘Church at’ meetings, where we have done a number of successful ‘Church at the Farm’ BBQ’s etc and had a good number of the community attend of all ages.
We are now back doing regular school assemblies in Coleshill and Meriden, and participating in various events with St.Laurence CofE church through the year in Meriden. Our midweek meetings include Study groups, craft groups and prayer meetings along with newly started monthly men's breakfasts which are proving very popular.
The Prison ministry is going very well and we are continually seeing new inmates coming along to the Sunday services, and a number taking a real interest in getting closer to the Lord and taking part in the worship team playing various musical instruments.
One of the main events during the Christmas period is ‘Journey to the Stable’ where many classes from local schools come along to a farm in Coleshill and experience the Christmas story played out with shepherds, kings, and a grumpy innkeeper.
During the coming year we are looking to reach out more effectively to the local communities we serve.
