Taking into account the objects of the Charity and the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit and specifically the guidance for charities for the advancement of religion, the church continues lo make the worship services and other provisions as accessible as possible to the local community and visitors from further afield. The pre-s¢hool Gontinues to provide much needed care for young children including those funded by government grants for free childca provision. They are able to do this because of the low renlal charge for the hall. This yèar a member of our congregation identified a need for travel cards for young carers as they were unable to find the funds for an upfront payment for a bus pass. We have been raising funds for this purpose and hav8 liased with a couple of other local Charities who Can identify those who could benafit from this and fa¢ililale the purchase of travel cards.
