In addition to traditional SundayEucharistand EverLsongservi￿thetharity has usual1yoffe￿d a mld-week ELEcharist for those unabk to attend on Sunday. but in the absen￿ of an Inojmbent mini%ter this has not been possible thts year. Harvest and Remembrance Sundays have been held duting 2022. however. with attendance approaching pr￿Co¥1￿ levels. The charity has continued to maints*n close links with the local schools wth visits again provlng a popularway of introducing children to Churth. DurSng a year wthout an incumbent Rector the chartty was fortunate to have a curate. Reve￿nd Father James Mllwain, appointed to serve the last few months of his training as Priest in Charge of All Salnts before he was fully ordalned as a mlnister and then left to take up a new ro￿ in May. The charity ha5 othefwise relied on visiting retired 'aergy with Permission to Officiat¥ to conduct its Eutharist Services. ably assisted by tstwo lirenced readers. Anne Knyhynyckyj and Kay Duckettwho have also preslded at Funeral and Intemient of Ashes seMce5. TheTn]stees wJsh to expresstherr deep g¥atitudeto them, and to the Wardens, Janet Mag50n and Carol Austin. who ha¥e worked brelessty to allow the Churth to operate as near normally as p0$5ible. 5. The charity keeps a well4naintained thurthyard whith still boasts an open burtal ground. for d￿aSed member5 ofthe Parish. Within the churchyard a spedalty created and maintsined 'Garden of remembrance, offers bereaved relatives and other members of the pub￿£ a beautlful and resttul place to sitqu*ty. 6. The charfty has a modem Chuf¢h Centre la¢ility which rs nornialiy aval￿ble throughout the yearfor hire for individual family celebrations, group functions. or societie5. regardless as to whetherthey are members of the church. Thls Centre, too, had to tlose with the advent of Covld. but groups did 5tsrt to return after the easing of restrlctlons.
