The Trust Oblerts and Pur&Mxesare the promotion of the Christian faith in accordante ¥￿th the doctrines of the Church of England
in the Ecclesi35tical Parish of Wingerworth in thecounty of Derbyshire. Atl Saints. WirEerworth also rnake5 grants to organisations
forthe promotion of the Christian fatth throughoutthe world and for refief of hardship and dstress and provides buildings, services
and other facilities forthe wder benefft of the commLEntty in Derbyshire.
During the period the cha¥ityseryed this Publk Benefft in the follow1￿ ways:_
Each year a sum representing 6% of the church's'Planned Glwnl receipts ￿ added to a designated fvnd for grants to be made
to local and national tha￿tIes. and international agencies. for the refief of poverty. 5UPPOrt of the homeless, care of the sick
and elderly, and further8nte of the Church's mission work. In mid-september 2020 an emergency Brant of £IOOO had been
madeto 3 needy local familyfrom monies accruing reacty for payingouteatlyin 2021 $0 whilstthe remaining amount paid out

giving as normal..
2. The charity provides a church buildingwhich s norn￿1￿ open 7 days a week in daylight hours for any member of the public to
visit for quiet contemplation and prayer. Since the I Coronavirus lockdown was imposed in Maich 2020. however, following
Government and C of E guidelines. the dturth has remained closed except for forn￿1 serv1￿ Isee 3 below) when restrictions
allow.
3. The charity normallyfurtherorganise5 Ser￿ceS forthe spiritual benefit of any member of the public who wishes to attend for
worship. In addition to tradr(ional Sunday Eutharistand EvensonEservI￿ thetharity has usually offered 8 mid-week Eucharist
for those unable to attend on ￿ndaY but thi5 has not been hdd during the Cowd pandemic, nor have the All-Age family
serwceswhich weretrèking place at leastontsa month. Spec4alistseT¥KesforHaryest and Remembrancesundays did continue
duTing 2021. albett with a smaller representation from the sthooL5 and unifotmed org3nis3tions. than usual. The charity has,
however, maintsined close links with them and the school wsits in particular are provin8 a very popular way of introducing
children to Church..

In October Rev Poston left to tske up a new posthn in Dv4lles. Wiltshi￿. so the Charity entered Interre8num underthe
control of the Church Wardens. abty supported by the Reader5 and visiting dergy. From December onward5 Reverend
James Mijwain. a curate at St Mary and All Saints. thesterfield, was temporarily appoÉnted prFe5t Én charge. Whilst we
may have suffered a set-back in the ex￿lIent INtrstreaming of Servi￿ which Rev P¢)5ton had Introdu￿d there are s
that the ener8y and eagerness of thè existingteam will alkjwa rapid respon*On￿ the pandemic ￿ behlnd us.
5. The pandemic again resutted In our after-school acbvitses for rhildren of various ages having to Stop, and the extremely
popularsummerschool wa5 anothervictim. desplte both hamng prewOu5￿5hOwn year-on-yeargrowth.
6. The thartty keeps a well-maintslned churchyard whith still boasts an open burral gr0￿d, for deceased memb&5 of the
Parish. Wrthin the churchyard a spe(ialty created and maintained'Garden of remembran￿, offets bereaved relatives
and other members otthe publrc a beautrful and restful pl￿ to s¥tquietty.
7. The charity keeps a thurch Centre t3￿￿ty. vthich is nomialty available throughout the year for hire for indiwdual fami
celebrations, groupfunrttons, orsorieties. whetheror not they are members of the church. This. too, had to cl(&se wth
the adve*)t of lockdown. and even after restrictions eased thesooal distancing requirements for safe re-openin&
coupled vAth agelinfimity limitations of many of the usergroups, meant that occwpation rate5 have yetto reach pre-
pèndemic levels. By continuing to makethe Church Centre premises availabk for pre- and post-5chool actwtties for a
local thildcare group throughout the year, however. the Charity have been able to sustain its Nnning costs whi15t
servin8 the community.
Prior to the Omi(mn variantsurfadngthere were encouraging srgns that m05t of our pr&Covid Groups were startFngto
h4re the premises again. and we fijlty expertthat this will continue as the Ornwon Vfdve fade& The thaiity 15 thus
confident that the Centre fadlitywill be able to fidjysupportthe Churth and its lo(al mi55ion in the future.

to the Oeanery Synod 3nd members eletted by those members of the congreeatK)n who are on the Electoral Roll of the church.
