The PCC Is registered wlth the Charity Commisslon. charity number 1131)001. l Objects of the PCC The PCC is responsible for Covoperatlng with the Incumbent in promotln& in the eccleslastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistlc. soclal. and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities Measure 1969. 3. Commlttee5 Standing Commlttee: This Is the only Commlttee requlred by law. It has power to transact the busin￿$ of the PCC between its rneetings of that Body, subject to any dirertlons given by the Council. Other Committees are formed as and when required. 4. Achlevements and Perforniance The PCC met 6 tlmes durlng the year2024. Thls was held on the 7 Feb. 3 Apr. 18 May. 3 Jul, 21 Sep and 4 Dec. As of 31" December 2024. there were 127 people on the Parish Electoral Roll. The Trustees have paid due regard to the requlrements for public benefit arKI believe that the Charity provides opportunitles for all. Flnanclal Revlew Our total income increased by 27% from £163K to £207K driven In the main by a large grant of £47,339, enabling us to pay the Parlsh Share in fulll Our rental Income increased followlng refurbishment and donations by bankerg order Increased. Key areas of expendlture were paylng 12 months of full Parish Share (compared to only £15,000 In 2023) and paying for school Ilfe coathing and the GFF survey. Compared to 2023 we economised on electricity by openlng the church as a warm bank for shorter periods. Page 2

It was a joy to be able to support some impactful and worthy causes to the amount of £9,400, around IO% of our unrestricted income. We were able to make significant differences and to partner with God's mission (see Stewardship & Sustainability page 6 and note 9 on page 12: Missionary and Charitable Giving). The Balance Sheet 6. Fabrlc Improvements The following repairs and improvements are being considered at St. Michael's.. The re-ordering of the church,. the organ space for storage, levelling the floor, solar panels, roof repairs in response to Quinquennial report, expanding the kitchen into a Café. 8. Investments We have £62,171 in Restritted funds including: Community Building, Youth Work, Discipleship Fund, Growing Faith Foundation, Worship Accessibility, Chancel Repair and Fellowship Fund. The interest on these funds was £3,315. Unrestricted Funds are general funds which can be used by the PCC for general purposes, The interest on these fund5 was £1,545. Page 3

Each member Is nornially elected for a period of three years, on a rotative basls, to ensure continuity over a three-year cyde. New Members are appointed for shorter periods to cover vacanaes when they occur. All new members must personally satlsfy and be proposed and seconded in line with the Church Representation Rules, to be able to serve on the Councll. Ex- officio members of the PCC include the Deanery Synod Representatives, the Churchwardens. and the Parlsh aergy.

We were once agaln recognlzed as a Growln8 Falth Foundatlon (GFF) Natlonal Hub, affirmln8 our commltment to Inte8ratlng falth Into homes, schools, and church Ilfe. The GFF leadershlp team pralsed our work In reachlng the "unchufched" and bulldlng a congregatlon that truly reflects the comrnunlty we serve. Growln8 Communlty One of the deflnln8 aspects of our church thls year has been our commltment to fosterln8 8enulne communlty. Our Dropln Café, has been a beacon of welcome, especlally for parents from St Mlchael's School. Wlth the School Llnk Worker now In attendance, the café has provSded a Space for connectlon, encouragement, and support. Slmllarly, our Playsense Café, launched In June, has made a huge dlfference In the Ilves of youn8 parents wlth chlldren wlth addltlonal needs breakln8 lonellness and bulldlng frlendshlps. We have contlnued to work closely wlth our local schools. 80th the Junlor School'5 OFSTED and SIAMS reports rated them GOOD, a testament to the shared commltment of school and church to nurture and Insplre chjldren. Easter and Chrlstmas school servSces saw over 800 thlldren and parents engaglng wlth the Bospel. We also wltnessed the power of communlty durlng our 8i>year annlversary of D-Day celebratlon, where we opened our doors to the town, and durln8 our Longest Nl8ht Servlce, where we stood alon851de those experlenclng loss and grlef.
