Earlier this year the Govemment agreed a funtling pad(age of £22m to the town through Margale Town Deal. The CoMd-19 pandem has highlighted the fragilty of the economy and (xeab"v8 ec(Aogy of se8side towns. and w8 hope that further lunding will be availabk through the Govemment's'levellinwp. agenda. In March 2020, we had to dose the gallery and Ihe majonty ol Ihe gallery staff tre pCed on fudough ave at that time.
