Trustees Annual Report The Trustees present their report and the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2024. The charity exists for the provision of advancing education of the pupils of Cheddington Combined School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the education of pupils of the school not provided by the LA. The main activity for the year was to continue to support the school by improving educational resources for pupils at the school. Thi5 year the PTA contributed £21,482.37, which was spent on new playground fencing, a health workshop for the whole school, a new projector in the hall, ZSL Education Access membership for the school to use, a new reading scheme for the children a5 well as a Christmas panto for the children and a summer performance (both of which took place in school.1 In accordance with The Charity Commission guidance, the Trustees have ensured that this financial yearfs accounts have been independently examined. Please find thi5 documentation attached. Management and Governance Arrangements Elected Trustees are members of staff and the school governing body. The governing body is elected by parents and carers of students at the school as well as by staff and governors in accordance with the appointing process and the governing role. A financial report is prepared each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that period. The Trustees and Board of Governors are responsible for keeping sufficient accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
