Summary of the year
2024 has been a quieter yearwlth less need for large expendliur8 on repairs and malntenance.

In the coming year. We have continued to ben8fit from a good incom6 from our hall rentals and
i)c¢asional booking8 of Church of the Resurrection. Our parfsh giving remains simllar to last year,
but we have also ralsed money for the nomlnated parish eharltl8s as well as our Ralse the Roov68
Fund in antlclpation that some major renovation works are going to be needed on bolh church
roves In Ihe next yeaT 01 so. Our main outgoing5 are our parish shaTe whlch accounts for over
50% of our expenditure and our gnergy bills although tho latter h8ve boen signiftc4ntly le88 than
antlc4paled wllh the drop in gas and eleclriclty prf¢es ccynpared wlth 2023.
We have C£sntinued to promoto the us8 of our online giving stations which are situated 8t both
¢hurches but there hasn't been a notabl8 rise In d¢)natlons coming to the parish vla this route.

Our nomlnatsd charltles have benefltted from the genoroslty of p8rfshloners at sev•ral 8errfl¢
where the collgixlons have been dlocated to a specific ch8rlty as well 8$ other fundralslng events.

gwdB arè tak8n lo the food bank throughout the year a8 well os extra donatrons that resutt
from tha ravèrse advent calendar.
The iinyne gener8tgd from fe8s for funerals and weddlngs remains a relatlvely small part of our
income but the interest rate8 on our saving8 a¢￿)Unt contlnue to be higher than previously.
Thé halls at both end8 ol the Parish contlnue to generate healthy revenuB and thé work to
ytroamling the bcoking and invoicFnu proce¢bureg eontinueg. $0 Ihal hall bookingy follow the
sam8 system. We have lost one or two regular hall users from St Andrews following conc8m8
about the stst& of repalr snd ¢leanllne$8 of the faclltti8s. Thlsls belng addressed earty In 2025 wlth
red8coratton and replacemenl of the Ilghung. We hope that we may be abl6 to encourage the
g￿p3 back agakn.

W8 o)ntlnue to pay the fvll contrtbutlon of our partsh share. As anticipated. our energy bi118 rnmatn
hlgh altlwugh not as much a¥ anllcipaled. The Eco group have been working hard to opllmtze the
efflcien¢y of our electrlcal and heating systems and a number of lights been changed to LED
bulbs whl¢h redu¢es energy consumption and therefore costs. Thls work will continue Into 2025
vlth the replacement of lighting at bolh halb and st)me of the lights in the churches. We are
applying for a grant from Ihe DIoc88en Qutd( Win8 fund to help oftset 80me of the cost.
Other area8 of speclfiG 8xpen8e have been to remove a builjup of pigeon dropplngs in tho COR
