The aims: -to actively promote inclusion, equality of opportunity, the valuing of diversity and British values. -to benefit the families by supporting their individual needs by offering either morning (8.45am-11.45am), afternoon (11.45am-2.45pm), all day (8.45am-2.45pm) sessions or a combination of different sessions. -to benefit the parents by working in partnership with them to help their children learn and develop to their full potential, keeping parents informed of their progress and providing ideas on how they can support their children at home -to benefit the children by providing a wide range of equipment and resources both indoors and outdoors which children can access through free flow play to enable them to develop their knowledge in the 7 areas of learning. |

Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20 | During the year 62 local children benefitted from attending the setting with a maximum of 32 children per session. Happy Bunnies employed 10 members of staff – Manager (qualified to Level 5), Lead (qualified to Level 3), Deputy (qualified to Level 3), Sendco (qualified to Level 3) and 6 Early Years Practitioners (2 qualified to Level 2 and 4 qualified to Level 3). No events were organised this year due to Covid-19 restrictions. This year we introduced a large wooden tunnel and wooden steps to our forest area to support children’s physical development. We also changed the layout of our indoor area to have more defined zones to support children’s personal, social and emotional development. |

Para 1.22 | Happy Bunnies main income is the Nursery Education funding received from the Local Authority and the trustees are aware this can be subject to change. We have a reserve fund to cover the possible costs in the event of changes to the income flow. We have a separate bank account to hold the charity’s reserves of £60k. We aim to have money in reserve to cover main costs for at least three months and to meet our redundancy liabilities. |
