The website and social media continues to hove a great impact on the church os many people hove
visitad following seeing dètails onlin8. This is also used to distribute Inlormotion and lioise with other
organisotlons. Th8 use of sociol medicj reels hos ￿lped to improve our presence and oppeal. Wè ron a
SUCC8ssful Eoster ser￿$ on social medwi gaining folk)wer$ ￿rosS the different soc￿1 medio platforms. The
website continues to ba uwlated ond used by those in the communry.

visit the church and encouroge church family to Support chorities around the world. We run torgeted and

The church continues to host two weekty Bible studies.
> The-Kids Church- is continuing to ir)corporate o full programme for oll oge groups and obilities. The Kid5
Church provision has grown 5￿J￿1r1ContIY ond has outgrown the space. causing them to relocate to
another building. A Cr*he for infonts and tOdd￿[S is fulty equipped.
> Streedights is put on hokj for this year due to kjck of volunteers.
> Relationships strengthened wtth Thirsk Churches Together ore continuing with the running of sevgrol
events throughout the yeor including Workl Day of Prayer. Easter and Chiistmas events. Wg contlnue to
host a baby support group in connection with the other churches called Nurture.
> The Annuol Chikjren's parties have L*en hosted in the church building and we continue to run a wgekly
ploygroup for bobies and toddlers called'seedlings..
>i Our frftaenth community Christsnas Lunch cotered for over 90 Peop￿ who woukl othorwisa spend the time
alone. Many volunteers olfer8d proctical help while local oiganisations and businesses generously
donated foLxI ond finance. We also ran a hamp8r noMinat￿)n schome and providad focxl and glft
hampers to10 families in the communty thot wsre struggling over the Christmas peth.
>b We continue to sponsor those in the church who (rttend various conlgrences and events to enable people
to gain experienc8. knowledge and er￿Quragement to shore with the church and to strengthen their
Telotionship with God and aoch other.
> Men's fellowship (Band ol Brothers) continues meeting in the church building. Men'$ breakfasts continue
once a month ot a locol establishment
> Lodi8s in Fellowship Together (UFT) continues in the chuTch buikling. Ladies. breokfosts also continues in
the church building once every ￿ months.
> I day lodies conference (The Well) took place and this yeor we hostèd one Well. event. Women from all
walks of life w&re invited to experience o day set apart for the￿ This has outgrown thg church building so
we hired another venue to continue to lacilitote the growth.
The church buildlng hos been used by other organrsotions for many events including a weekly pop-up
scone shop run by o local Sp8cial EducatK)n Needs sch¢)ol, the NHS, local craft groups and many more.
"Youth Church" began With focilities tor og8s 11-18 once a month. Our YOLrth team also took young people to
other events including Kairos Youth Camp.
> We ran mony diffèrent courses. including The Morrh]ge Course. Freedom in Christ C¢)urse. including an
Away Doy off site. These were well ottenaed by members of the church ond the community
> We ran tyjr first Week of Pr(iyef in February and Saw many people connect with God and saw mony
answered proyeis.
> Throughout the summer months. we launched our"Summer Socialv. These were different events for
members of the church to socicjlise and invtte friends to. Those included coflee morning4 walks. basketball
gomes. quiz nlghts. picnics and crcrft nights.
Lydia was invited to run RE lessons and assembli￿ in a bcal primory school This has extended to multiple
times in the y8or on focussed themes.
We plon to 8ncouroge 9rowth in every areo of church life ond wa have relerred to the guidance containèd in
the Chority Commission's 9enerol guidonce on public benefit when rgviewing our aim and objectives and in
planning our future acttvities.
