## **Achievements and Performance** 

SORP reference a) Support of 86 village girls and 20 elderly  ladies  accommodated  in  our hostel (supplying education materials, Summary of the main medical care and clothes); Para 1.20 achievements of the b) We are supporting in further charity, identifying the education for village girls and boys: in difference the charity’s Arts & Science College 39, Polytechnic work has made to the 16,  B.Sc.  Nursing  12,  B.Ed.  Teacher circumstances of its Training 17, vocational courses beneficiaries and any Engineering College 6 (our trust pays wider benefits to society fees,  supplying  education  materials as a whole. and clothes); c)  Employment of  staff  at  the girls’ hostel:  3  wardens,  1  supervisor,  2 cooks, 1 helper, 1 driver, 1 scavenger; and for the elderly ladies: 1 helper, 1 scavenger; 

d) Kathryn’s Nursery and Primary Schools educating 295 deprived poor background children with the help of 14 teachers, 3 helpers, 1 watchman and 1 scavenger. e) The Child Rural Development Centres are functioning well in 5 villages with 375 children. Our KMH projects are providing evening education, educational materials and snacks. Our RCTC Centres are doing a great  job  of  educating  students  as students are unable to go to school during this pandemic lockdown time. In the lockdown time our Tamil Nadu Government also ITK (Illam Thedi kalvi) in some villages like our RCDC system for the last 6 months. f) In our Joan's Grace Home compound  our  project  has  offered free  tailoring  training  and  computer training  to  the  unemployed  young girls. Now there are 23 young ladies getting training with 10 tailoring machines and 1 tutor. The free computer training is also going well. We are planning in the coming year to change the old computer system into new system. 

g)   In  2021-22  our  KMH  project  4 



medical camps were conducted. Out of which two sessions were first conducted for the students staying in our  hostel  and  two  medical  camps were conducted for the nearby public in which about 127 rural people benefited. h)  As  it’s  the  year  end  we  have repairs and maintenance and painting to  the  Joan’s  Grace  Home  Buildings and Kathryn’s Nursery School buildings. I)  Due to the pandemic Covid-19 the government announced lockdown till October 2021. In this period our project children stayed at their village. So we have provided cash and kinds for all the project children for food and maintenance. From 1 November  2021  onwards  our  Tamil Nadu schools are open and continuously running. Now all the children  are  happy  to  attend  offline class. j) In June 2021 our KMH project was Covid-19  relief  work  with  couple  of Gipsies’ camps. More than 460 families were receiving 15 days food materials. Local village administrative officer, Child Welfare officer and our Karaikudi  Member of the Legislative Assembly participated and distributed the  food  materials.   And  our  KMH project continually supported deprived  families  around  us  in  this pandemic situation. k)  Every  month  our  JGH  conducted the Home management meeting with district  Child  Welfare  officer,  Child Protection Officers, Local ward members, staff from medical department, wardens and 2 girls from our home. l) We have obtained the FCRA approval for another 5 years.

## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 The charity’s regular income has<br>financial position at the  decreased slightly over the period,<br>end of the period due to the financial constraints of<br>some of our supporters. Nonetheless,<br>many supporters continued to make<br>additional contributions in addition to<br>the regular sponsorship, much of<br>which was used for Covid relief<br>following the previous year’s appeal.<br>Grants have been made for the<br>charity’s work in India as required<br>from time to time, and expenses have<br>been kept to a minimum (less than<br>0.2% of income).<br>Statement explaining  Para 1.22 The trustees’ policy on financial<br>the policy for holding  reserves is not to hold any monies<br>reserves stating why  longer than required, but to expend<br>they are held them as soon as practicable on the<br>charity’s work.
