This objective presents the Trustee with
powers to enable provision of charitable
assistance to all elements of the RAF
Community, with the provision of grants, a
motorhome, garages, and caravan storage
as the JRWF’s principle means of delivering
this assistance.

Financial Plan to the Trustee and its
members, detailing the proposed budget for
grants, subsidies, and requests for
assistance at the AGM. This Financial Plan
is either approved or rejected by the Junior
Ranks, and is monitored monthly by the
JRWF Committee and Accounts Flight.
The JRWF Committee meets monthly to
discuss any requested grants. The extent of
assistance is decided by the merits of the
individual bit.

Financial Year, the JRWF paid out
£1,849.10 in grants.
In challenging circumstances, the JRWF
continued to provide station facilities for all
RAF Benson personnel, such as use of the
motorhome (COVID legislation permitting),
garages, caravan parking, and laundry

All expenditure is made for the benefit and
provision of services for the Junior Ranks at
RAF Benson.

Trustee monthly. Such risks include a loss of

The Trustee, though the Accounts Flight,
continues a constant programme of work to
identify procedures and plans that mitigate
risk and minimise the potential impact of
these risks, should they materialise.
An Internal Audit Board has been convened,
with the JRWF being audited quarterly
throughout the Financial Year.

Note 2 Accounting Policies
This standard list of accounting policies has been applied by the charity except for those identified, "No" or "N/a". Where a different or
additional policy has been adopted then this is detailed in the box below.
2.1 INCOME
Recognition of income These are included in the Statement of Financial Activities Yes

It should be noted that the charity revised their financial year end from 31st October 2020 to 31st March 2021. Resulting in the current year being 17 months.

It should also be noted that during this financial year the global COVID-19 pandemic had caused most large activities and functions to be cancelled. This is consequently reflected in the figures reported, particularly in the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA).
