**Objects:** 1. TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF DRAMA, AND IN PARTICULAR, TOCULTIVATE THE PERFORMING ARTS AND IMPROVE TASTE IN THOSE ARTS.2. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT, THE SOCIETY SHALL PROMOTE THE PRODUCTION OF DRAMATICAND OPERATIC WORKS HAVING AN EDUCATIONAL VALUE, AND WITH THE FURTHER OBJECT OFRAISING FUNDS (A) TO BE DEVOTED SOLELY TO CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AND (B), SPECIFICALLYFOR THE MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIETY'S OWN PREMISES FORPERFORMANCE AND REHEARSAL FACILITIES FOR THE SOCIETY'S OWN, AND GENERAL PUBLICCOMMUNITY USE, AND3. TO DO ALL SUCH THINGS AS SHALL BE CONDUCIVE TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS,AND TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY SPIRIT WITHIN THE TRURO AREA.

**Activities:** Staging local theatrical productions involving its members and other local people, including children. These productions include musicals, plays and operetta. The society aims to improve and educate the public taste in these arts with the object of raising funds to be devoted solely to charitable purposes.
