The Tn￿le¢S ar¢ plwed to submit their Annual ReTx>rt on the activiti¢s of the Lou

hborou
Please not¢ that as of I" Seoember 2025, the Loughborough M¢thoth'st Circuit merg¢d with
the Melton Mowbray Methodist Circuit to forn] the Chamwood and Mowbray Methodist
Circuit.
As a circuit of churches we aim to SUp￿rt each other in maintsining our places of worship as
centres for community engagemerrt and spiritual renewal. This annual rew)rt of the
Loughborough MethcKlist Circuit ￿fleC1S that aim in ihc diversity of outrcach opwrtunities
that we have undertaken throughout the year. Though the membership of the churches
remain5 fairly static. il is encouraging to see that lh¢ enthusiasm and commitmenl of all
involv¢d in the churches continues to k a blessing in the communities they serve.
The age profile of church memkrs tends to be mainly those over 50. which is disappointing
iv¢n ihe level of work thal is done with children and young families. However. we conlinue
to I￿)k for ways in which we might rev¢rse this tren￿ whil¢ recognising the imtK)rtanc¢ of
continued support and encouragement in those churches that have a Wicular ministy io and
with thc older generations. The exception is the Chinese Church.
